We are close to releasing our winter update of the 2026 rankings update and you should expect a lot of movement. This movement will include players who boosted their stock last season or are new names to our radar.

Here are a few prospects who are expected to be on the rise in the next update.

[player_tooltip player_id='1241378' first='Tino' last='Daye Jr'] (@tdaye_3), WR - Johnston - 6'3" 175 lbs

Although I think Johnston's [player_tooltip player_id='1241378' first='Tino' last='Daye Jr'] will go on to sign up to play college basketball, I wouldn't be surprised to see high-level programs attempt to keep him on the gridiron. Tino is a big-bodied receiver who has proven he can tap into his basketball background to dominate on jump balls and at the catch point. Daye ended his junior season with 17 receptions for 294 yards and four receiving touchdowns. When people see Tino, I don't think they expect him to also have a 4.5 40-yard speed that allows him to blow past defenders at the line of scrimmage. Great concentration through the catch. Another thing coaches will love seeing on tape is Tino's physicality and willingness to block in the run game. He uses good hand placement and has the power in his lower body to drive defenders out of running lanes.

Junior [player_tooltip player_id='1421471' first='Gavin' last='Warren'] is one of the hidden gems on a super stingy Sergeant Bluff-Luton defense that choked opponents out all season long. Warren jumped on my radar early during the season when I could evaluate him in person, and he delivered with a crucial interception in what would be a shutout win. This seemed to be the theme of Gavin's season, as he would go on to tie for most INTs in Class 3A with 6. Warren possesses a very high football IQ that allows him to read and analyze offenses in a flash while possessing the quick twitch instincts to make a play on the ball. I didn't see a listed 40-yard time, but Gavin clearly possesses great game speed and a sharp break on the ball that helps him close on the ball in a flash. Good speed and agility to keep up with receivers in coverage. Gavin was also the Warrior's leading receiver with 269 yards and four touchdowns on 14 receptions.

Expect the OL group to see some big change-ups with several new names and risers; one name to watch in that group is Cedar Fall's [player_tooltip player_id='1399565' first='Parker' last='Yokem']. Parker started at right guard for the Tigers, displaying nice burst and explosiveness out of his stance. He is more than willing to take the fight to the defense, which is displayed in his aggressiveness at the point of attack. Yokem is able to build solid momentum on pulling plays and can follow through with a violent punch through his defender that usually stops them in place. Strong leg drive to move defenders off the ball when run blocking and the sturdiness in his anchor to not give up ground in pass protection. Things are trending up for the Tiger's mauler!

MOC-Floyd Valley's [player_tooltip player_id='1581277' first='Dylan' last='Maasdam'] had a great junior season in which he emerged as one of the top receiving RBs in his class. Maasdam ended the year leading the Dutchmen in rushing with 673 yards and eight touchdowns as their RB1. What really impressed about Dylan was his additional 32 receptions for 320 yards and receiving touchdown. Dylan is a patient runner who does an excellent job following his blocks, as he is willing to let them set up in front of him before exploding through the opened lane. He flashed some nice wiggle with the ball in his hands, showing that he can make defenders miss in the open field. Versatile receiver who can be a target out of the backfield or lined up in the slot. Underrated route running and YAC ability. This is someone who will catch fire on the recruiting market once teams start looking his way.
