<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1594192' first='Jaylon' last='Cloud'], Roswell</strong>: Cloud emerged as one of the most dynamic running backs in Class 5A this season. He helped the Coyotes win the 5A championship and earned Second-Team All-State honors.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1594079' first='Brenden' last='Franco'], Las Cruces</strong>: A man-child at 6-foot-5, 300 pounds, Franco anchored the middle of the Bulldawgs' defensive line. He finished with 65 tackles and 8.0 TFL, earning 6A Second-Team All-State honors. He helped lead Las Cruce to the 6A semifinals for the second straight year. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1594674' first='Tommy' last='Lopez'], Portales</strong>: A two-way standout, Lopez filled in admirably for injured starting QB [player_tooltip player_id='615523' first='Paxton' last='Culpepper'] over the final 10 games and led the Rams in tackles with 86. He also had 5 interceptions. Offensively, he threw for close to 800 yards and led Portales in rushing with 753 yards and 10 TD. He earned 4A First-Team All-State honors. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1594266' first='Jay' last='Madrid'], Capital</strong>: Madrid was one of the two-way standouts this season in Capital's new Air Raid offense. He caught 40 passes for nearly 400 yards and made 53 tackles with 4 interceptions and 8 passes defended. Earned 5A Second-Team All-State honors. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1594564' first='Kaden' last='McCown'], Bloomfield</strong>: Bloomfield had one of the most explosive offenses in the entire state this past season. The Bobcats were also extremely balanced with numerous players contributing to the success of the offense. McCown was a slot receiver, finishing with 29 receptions for 542 yards and 8 TD. Earned 4A Second-Team All-State honors. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1594848' first='Adam' last='Mitchell'], Tohatchi</strong>: One of the top defensive linemen in Class 3A this season, the 6-foot-3, 285-pound Mitchell's number jump off the computer screen. He finished with 15.5 tackles for loss. Nearly half his tackles resulted in negative yardage. Class 3A Second-Team All-State Selection. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1594033' first='Jamari' last='Phillips-Woods'], West Mesa</strong>: Phillips-Woods began the season with a flourish, rushing for 243 yards against St. Pius X. By mid-season, he had earned the distinction of West Mesa's go-to RB. He carried 10+ times in 5 of the last 6 games, and finished with 900 yards and 8 TD. He earned Honorable Mention All-State honors. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1595652' first='AJ' last='Quesada'], Legacy Academy</strong>: Legacy Academy's 9-0 start in their first year of 11-man football was one of the feel good stories in Class 2A. Quesada played a huge role in the Silverbacks' success by rushing for 624 yards and 10 TD with 9 receptions during the regular season. He earned Second-Team All-State honors. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1594836' first='Elam' last='Smith'], Thoreau</strong>: Smith rushed for over 1,000 yards for the Hawks, averaging 12.3 yards per carry, but flew deep under the radar all season long. Thankfully, his accomplishments didn't escape the attention of the NMHSCA, who named him a First-Team All-State RB.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1595609' first='Ryan' last='Timberlake'], Texico</strong>: Even though Texico is a Class 2A school, Timberlake anchored an offensive line that was the envy of many 6A schools. Timberlake weighs 250 pounds, the norm for the Wolverines in the trenches this season. Timberlake earned First-Team All-State honors.</p>
