Recruiting Update: Two Kansas Prospects Staying Close to Home

As of this morning, we have commitment information on more than 130 of the 600-plus athletes ranked.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Here is a quick look at five athletes who have made their college choices. A couple of them are very recent announcements, while a couple of others I found conducting research for the rankings update.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='716775' first='Drayton' last='Knoll'],</strong> OL, 6'5”, 305, Holcomb, '25 (Central Arkansas)</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Knoll slipped in an announcement I missed, so this news is overdue. The Holcomb lineman has committed to Central Arkansas. He has a long reach and is super strong. Knoll is ranked No. 22 overall and is the third-ranked offensive lineman in the Kansas Class of 2025.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1115498' first='Scott' last='Moore'],</strong> LB/TE, 6'5”, 235, Girard, '25 (Delaware)</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Moore also snuck in a commitment on me. The Girard prospect had multiple offers but selected Delaware as his future stomping ground. The Blue Hens are getting a tight end and linebacker ranked No. 43 overall in the Kansas Class of 2025. Moore hopes to follow Blue Hen alumni Rich Gannon and Joe Flacco as NFL athletes from the Division I FCS program.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='873161' first='Caden' last='Huffman'],</strong> WR, 5'11”, 170, Blue Valley Southwest, '25 (Nebraska-Kearney)</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Huffman is an athletic wideout who has committed to Nebraska-Kearney. The Lopers are a team recently loaded with speed, so he fits into their mold. Huffman has been laser-timed in the “Forty” at 4.4 seconds. He has nice hands and is an experienced athlete. Huffman is currently ranked No. 58 overall by Prep Redzone.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='268059' first='Koby' last='Le'],</strong> DL, 6'1”, 240, Emporia, '25 (Emporia State) <strong><em>Pictured Above</em></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Le announced his verbal commitment to Emporia State last night on social media. He is a quick defensive lineman I have followed the past couple of seasons at camps and combines. He has a strong work ethic and will only get bigger and stronger under the watchful eyes of the Hornets' strength and conditioning team. Le is currently ranked No. 64 overall in the Kansas Class of 2025.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1228443' first='Brandt' last='Stupka'],</strong> WR, 6'2”, 175, Andover Central, '25 (Butler CC)</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Butler Grizzlies have landed an impressive local prospect from Andover Central. Stupka had one of the top seasons for a wideout making 67 receptions for 1,072 yards. He made 15 touchdown grabs as a senior and finished with 22 receiving touchdowns for his career.
