Herrmann showed anticipation and got the ball out in a hurry when needed. For his junior campaign, Herrmann threw for over 1,800 yards and 13 touchdowns, and ran for 300 yards and 5 touchdowns.

Brandon Derbigny | Cy Falls | 2026

Derbigny showed some flashes last season using both his arm and legs. His athleticism popped on the field, pulling the ball from his running back and picking up chunk yards for the offense. Derbigny made big throws when the team needed it and used his dual-threat abilities to generate positive plays for the Eagles. He passed for 982 yards and 7 touchdowns while adding 300 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns to his total. He will be a guy to watch this offseason to see his progression and growth at the position, with the potential to help lead the Eagles to success.

Will Hazen | Bellaire | 2026

Hazen showed much growth in his game this past season, developing as both a passer and runner. Hazen shows confidence and a calm presence in the pocket, finding his targets and delivering darts in tight windows. He navigates through the pocket well and can turn on the jets when needed. Hazen is a strong, physical runner who will not go down easily. He keeps his legs churning and will lower his shoulder when given the opportunity. He elevates the Cardinal offense and will be a key returning player next season.

Madden Harvey | Alief Hastings | 2026

Harvey does his best work when moving out of the pocket. He extends plays with his athleticism and delivers some strikes when on the move. Harvey has shown good quickness and awareness when breaking the pocket, feeling the pressure and eluding it before it gets to him. He throws a solid deep ball, hitting his guys in stride and looking for the big play downfield. Harvey can be a player at the position who can climb the ranks with a strong offseason working on his craft.

Timothy Potts | C.E. King | 2026

Potts throws with anticipation, delivering darts to his targets before they can get their heads turned around. He gets the ball out in a hurry with good accuracy, hitting his receivers early to maximize the yards after catch. Potts is a good athlete who can keep plays alive using his legs, but plays very comfortably within the pocket as well. Potts had a strong season this past year and will be looking to capitalize and build off of it for his senior campaign. Keep eyes out for him this offseason heading into next year.
