A tight light no nonsense group, the running backs in attendance at our First ever Prep Redzone Virginia showcase had exceptional days. Nevertheless [player_tooltip player_id='1282164' first='Jonah' last='Brent'] is in for a big senior season for the Saints. Brent tested very well and looked so smooth and fluid during the individual drills, cannot wait to see what he does in 2025 season. Rushing for over 500 yards and 5 scores last year for Radford, him transferring to North Cross could be quite the addition. Grubb was fantastic all afternoon with good testing numbers and excellent work during the individual drills. I've been a fan of Holmes's game going back to his work at Patriot and he parlayed that into a all conference junior season for Lake Braddock. This past weekend he was close to being named MVP and he earned a top performer spot. Holmes tested well and was tough during the 1vs1 drills. His rep I posted yesterday with [player_tooltip player_id='1232853' first='Alex' last='Lake'] was physical and fun, what I loved the most is Holmes got right back up and kept going. That is the type of competitor he is and it showed all Sunday afternoon. I expect a monster senior season for Holmes, who should take over as the lead back for the Bruins. The kid was easily a top performer and is trending in the right direction during his off-season. Joplin is a quick back who is still uncommitted playing for Christiansburg High School last season. Fun kid to be around his positive energy and vision should make for a nice transition at the next level. My co-worker Cole is right, the young man just needs a little space and his burst is hard to stop.
