PRZVA Showcase, Highlighting the Top Defensive Linemen

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Continuing with my coverage of our first Prep Redzone Virginia Player Showcase, today I am bringing you the top defensive linemen from the camp. We selected five players who stood out in the individual drills and the 1v1s versus the offensive linemen. Class of 2028 defensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='1014899' first='Kayden' last='Brice'] took home the MVP honors for his consistent and excellent reps throughout the camp. Today, I am highlighting the top five defensive linemen from the showcase that colleges will want to keep on their radar. He has good technique using his hands to keep offensive linemen off of him and set himself up with leverage to make a quick move around them. Also showed good power to push the offensive lineman back in a bull rush. Tested well with a 7'6" broad jump and a 5.03 shuttle. He has very good height and frame at 6'4". Quick off the ball, knows how to use his hands in his pass rush to win the rep. Great reps throughout the 1v1s and looked good during the individual position drills. Currently in our Top 50 players in the <a href="https://prepredzone.com/virginia/rankings/2027-rankings/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Class of '27</a>, and he showed why. He is quick with speed, proving to be a difficult rusher to get hands on in pass protection. When you turn on his season highlights from this past year, that is exactly what you see. A solid performance in the individual drills and the 1v1s. Tested well in the agility drills with 4.97 Shuttle Drill and a 8.50 L-Drill. When watching his season highlights, you see that agility on display. The defensive line coach quickly brought his name up when discussing the top performers of the day. He is strong at the point of attack, and does a good job at shedding blocks with his strength and his hand. Turn on his film and you see the same thing in the games.
