Mount Vernon QB [player_tooltip player_id='1581287' first='Kellen' last='Haverback'] is a player who hopped onto my radar at the Stock Up Showcase after earning Co-QB MVP honors at the camp. I was impressed even more when I cut on his junior tape and saw the skillset he showed at the camp and on the field. Haverback completed 157 of 245 pass attempts for 2,285 yards and 27 passing touchdowns. The biggest thing that stands out about Kellen is how calm and collected he is in the pocket. He does an excellent job keeping his eyes moving, progressing through his reads as he evades the pass rush and directs his receivers downfield. Good footwork as he drops back and steps into his passes. Kellen showed he can throw with good touch and has the arm strength to zip the ball into tight windows. Haverback also added 10 touchdowns on the ground, showing that he can also be dangerous with his legs. Big offseason coming up for Kellen!

The Pella Dutch turned a lot of heads this year as they enjoyed one of their best seasons in recent memory with an 11-2 record and several bright spots for the future. One of those bright spots was junior linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='1581293' first='Nate' last='Warner'], who led the team in tackles with 109.5 and had 10.5 TFLs, a fumble recovery, and a pick-six. Warner is another player who tore it up at the Stock Up showcase, putting his athleticism on full display with a 4.56 40-yard dash, 4.53 shuttle drill, 9'8" broad jump, and a 7.28 L-drill. He has a solid frame at 6'1", 195 lbs with good length and room to continue growing. Nate has a very quick trigger with a fast first step that sends him exploding through his gap to make plays at/behind the line of scrimmage. Very good speed and lateral quickness, not just downhill but also with sideline-to-sideline range and the ability to get depth in coverage. Expect a big senior year from Nate as the Dutch look to surpass their 2024 success.

Life is a bit easier for a first-year quarterback when you have a receiver like junior [player_tooltip player_id='1240429' first='Hayden' last='Morrison'] to throw to. The Bettendorf Bulldogs prospect had a great junior campaign, catching 43 passes for 773 yards and seven touchdowns on the season. Morrison is an athletic, lengthy receiver with good size (6'1", 185 lbs) and 4.58-40 speed that can catch defenses off guard. Hayden flashes great burst off the ball with the acceleration to get vertical quickly against DBs before adjusting the top of his route to create separation. Sharp change of direction and great stop/start ability. Morrison also showed that he can track the deep ball very well with the concentration to follow it through the catch point. Won't be long before we start seeing some offer posts!

An absolute "bull in a china shop" type of defender. Blue Raider DL/LB [player_tooltip player_id='1599553' first='Ayden' last='Antonelli'] had a monster breakout season as he led all juniors with 14.5 sacks, also tallying 56.5 tackles, 20 TFLs, and a fumble recovery. Ayden plays with a red-hot motor that drives his tireless pursuit of the ball. He flashed his versatility playing anywhere from a 3-5 tech DL, EDGE rusher, and off-ball linebacker, proving effective in each role. Antonelli's violent hands and quick twitch allow him to break off from blockers at the line of scrimmage easily. He does an excellent job tracking and flowing to the ball. He is an effective tackler with the power to really lay the wood when he has a good angle. Definitely a player to get on campus this spring!

[player_tooltip player_id='401675' first='Lamarious' last='Clark'] (@Lamariousclark), DB/ATH - Ankeny - 5'11" 165 lbs

Lamarious was a player we keyed at the beginning of the season as a breakout candidate, and he definitely delivered. In his first season with the Hawks, the junior safety recorded 56 tackles, 8.5 TFLs, and five interceptions, with two going back for touchdowns. Lamarious is a rangy, physical safety who is fluid in coverage and will step into the box to help against the run. One thing that stands out about Lamarious is his ability to read and react to the offense on the fly, using his football IQ to quickly recognize plays and get in position to make a stop. I was impressed with Lamrious' coverage reps, where he displayed sharp footwork, loose hips, and a quick change of direction to stay right in a receiver's hip pocket. He reads the QB's eyes very well and has the timing and ball skills to undercut routes to snag the ball for himself. Solid DB prospect who should see a rise in attention this spring.
