McCarty was one of several returners to the PRZ CA Showcase that earned MVP honors at Sunday's camp. The 5'11"/175 junior out of Beaumont was a top performer at the event last spring and continued to show his advanced technical skillset and disruptiveness in man coverage. Can play both nickel and perimeter CB and operates with controlled, coordinated footwork. Recorded 46 total tackles, 2 INTs, and 5 TFLs as a junior. Look for McCarty to continue to raise his stock with a busy offseason.

Delk stood out as the best athlete among the DB group and was easily among the most explosive players at the camp. He made several plays downfield in 1v1s with his ability to turn and run with the WRs and compete at the highest point with an impressive vertical leap. Opens up with quick hip turns and showed noticeable speed and burst breaking on routes. Based on the level of natural athleticism I saw from Delk, he might present the highest upside of any of the DBs at Sunday's camp.

Mohebi stood out with his physical play in the secondary at Sunday's PRZ CA Showcase. Uses his strong, compact frame at 5'9"/170 to get his hands on receivers and disrupt routes and timing. Still developing his athletic and technical skillsets in coverage but showed some ability to tackle in space from his S spot in his junior tape. Mohebi is a player to keep on the radar as he continues to develop with time and reps over the course of the offseason.

Rivas earned his way into the top DB performers list with the competitiveness and playmaking he showed during the 1v1s period. He proved to be a pesky defender in coverage with the speed and quickness he showed and consistently found himself in position to make a play on the ball. Rivas' skills and intangibles give him the potential to develop into a future breakout DB in the fall.

Gordon impressed both the coaches and the scouts with the physical tools and upside he displayed at 6'2"/175. He's a versatile DB that looks like a more natural safety but made some nice plays in 1v1s lined up at CB. Useful length and build to his frame and showed solid range as a zone defender in the half-line period. Totaled 39 tackles, an INT, and 10 PBUs as a junior for Chaparral. Gordon should continue to catch the eyes of coaches at camps with his physical profile this offseason.
