Prospect Sheet Deep Dive: Callaway Cavaliers

Callaway has a history of producing high-profile CFB players. There are likely a few guys like that currently on their roster. From a size and length standpoint, he checks prototype boxes at LB. He plays well in the box, surfing low to the ground and striking with solid pad level, using his length to engulf ball carriers. He is a patient pursuer of the football with plenty of production as a tackler. Anderson holds several FBS offers, including an SEC offer from Vanderbilt. It will be another busy offseason for Anderson as his recruitment continues to take mold.     Elijah Rowe is a strong, stout OL prospect. He plays plenty of T, but projects best as an interior blocker. He is bull rush proof and is capable of misplacing defenders once he gets his hands on them and starts driving. Rowe holds early FBS offers and is another prospect who will benefit from a big offseason. Rowe is tall, long, and has the strength to move people, traits that will always translate and be in high demand.     Harrington is a breakout QB prospect who doubles as an impressive baseball player. Harrington is an explosive athlete with verified speed in the form of a 6.94 60-yard dash. He is explosive and twitchy in the short areas, allowing him to dance around contact and quickly vacate open space. Harrington hums a fastball in the upper 80's, so he has plenty of juice in his arm. His off-platform skills are impressive and he scans the field well when on the move. Harrington was highly productive both in the air and on the ground this fall. He should receive recruiting buzz in two sports.     Nizerik Houston is an athletic EDGE defender with solid measurables and plenty of upside. He is nimble and athletic enough to shoot gaps and pursue from the backside. He is still developing as a block shedder, but when given space to run, he closes space quickly to the football and makes the field look small. Houston has an impressive blend of size and speed.     Jeffery Ellis is an athletic DB with a T/F background, participating in the triple jump and sprinting events. Ellis produced against the ball this year in the form of 3 INTs and 5 PBUs. Ellis plays with refined footwork and is extremely difficult to separate against. He plays on a rope with WRs, flashing the suddenness to adjust on a dime to the path of receivers. Even without prototype size, Ellis gives himself a chance to make a play on the ball given that he is hard to separate against.    2027 Standouts    [player_tooltip player_id='1797156' first='Kaiden' last='James'] is the most noteworthy prospect on roster, holding an offer from several FBS programs, including one from Alabama. James is one of the most elite 2027 WRs vertically. He has the leaping ability to win over the top and tracks the ball well through contact. He is only going to grow and become a better athlete. The early buzz is a result of what he is capable of doing at the catch point. It's a big offseason ahead for James.    2028 Standouts   ATH Jaquinton Williams and ATH AJ Williams are both two freshmen that Callaway is excited about. While in the youthful stages of their growth, they are athletic, long striders who make the field look small. On top of their athletic traits, they have the natural progression of their growth ahead of them, indicating plenty of upside.
