Prep Redzone Arkansas Showcase Defensive Standouts Part Two

Prep Redzone Arkansas recently hosted the January camp and had no shortage of talented players on the defensive side of the ball. [player_tooltip player_id='1590199' first='Brian' last='Benford'] is a versatile player who has had no trouble earning playing time on both sides of the ball for the Patriots. On the defensive side of the ball, Benford does a tremendous job of reading the play and making plays on the ball. He excels at separating the ball from the ball carrier. He will surprise you with his quickness. Bennett has a good mix of speed and power. He defeats blocks and gets into the opposing offensive backfield. Bennett had a strong camp performance, doing well in one-on-one competition as well as drills to kick off the camp. Sanderson does a great job using his speed to get into the offensive backfield. He pursues the ball carrier well and showed on Sunday he will put in the work this offseason. Tate will surprise you with how strong he is. Tate does an excellent job of working his way into the opposing offensive backfield. He does not give up on a play and has a way of not quitting on a play. Tate has the ability to stuff the run or alter the passing game of the opponent. Mitchell has the versatility to play all along the defensive front for Malvern. He has shown he has the power to help shut down the opponent's rushing attack. Mitchell uses his speed well to get into the offensive backfield. Meanwhile, he did an impressive job at the Prep Redzone Showcase on Sunday and he is a player to watch out for the next few years with Malvern.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
