[player_tooltip player_id='2065359' first='Kadan' last='Birks'] is a breakout candidate for Blytheville. Birks can angle defenders on base blocks, creating running lanes. He's physical at the POA and uses his hands well. Keep an eye on him.

[player_tooltip player_id='1718606' first='Daylon' last='Hewitt'] could be competing for Jonesboro's starting job now that it's opened up. He flashes his ability to command the LOS pre-snap. He displays solid pocket mobility, stepping up and evading pressure effectively. Hewitt is athletic and is willing to stand in the pocket and deliver. I expect him to breakout in 2026.

[player_tooltip player_id='1403007' first='Caden' last='Burnett'] will also be competing for the starting job at Sylvan Hills this spring after Hampton graduates. Burnett possesses a strong arm with solid ball placement at all field levels. He demonstrates the ability to anticipate receivers off breaks, leading them into yards after-catch opportunities. He shows solid velocity on the football, enabling him to target tight windows at all field levels. He's going to open a lot of eyes this year.

[player_tooltip player_id='1408405' first='Lexx' last='Latham'] is going to garner more attention next fall. Latham displays elusiveness in space with solid post-snap vision to identify running lanes quickly. I expect him to take another leap during the 2026 season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1288366' first='Jaylen' last='Heard'] is lengthy, physical, and has good athletic ability. Heard displays a quick release, eating up space quickly, and winning vertically. He can win contested catches as the X receiver. Keep an eye on him.
