New Rankings Additions: Specialists

As advertised by our lead scout Jeremy Deckard, today KS Prep Redzone has released their additions and updates to the 2026 Rankings list in the state of Kansas. Today and throughout the week we are going to highlight players who have been added to the list. I will be focusing on the Specialists who shined during the 2025 season who deserve to be added to the Rankings List.    Kicker [player_tooltip player_id='1522393' first='Archie' last='Esh'] from Christ Prep has been added to the 2026 Rankings list. Archie is currently ranked the #5 Kicker in the state and I see him moving up the list again during his Senior season. Archie is soccer player turned Kicker who shined during his 1st season as a Kicker. Archie went 5/9 on Kicks this year while having 2 blocked due to protection issues up front. Archie showcases how lively his leg is when he makes contact. The ball soars off his foot and showcases real power, especially when kicking into the heavy Kansas winds that this state can produce.     From Colgan, KS [player_tooltip player_id='1598084' first='Joe' last='Lomshek'] has made the list as the #6 Kicker in the state of Kansas. Joe has been a 3 year starter for Colgan and eclipsed the 100th career PAT in his career this season. Joe also does Punting and has shown improvement each year. His drop was the biggest improvement I saw over this past year and it showed on the field by averaging 40 yards, which was a 3 yard improvement from last year. Joe was 2nd in all of 1A in Kick scoring and yards per punt. Be on the lookout for Joe heading into the offseason and on the basketball court where he also excels at.     From the small town of Rossville, KS [player_tooltip player_id='1598086' first='Vincent' last='Daniel'] has been added to the rankings as the 7th best Kicker in the state. Vincent this past year was 2nd out of all class 1A in Field Goals made and attempted. Vincent was a weapon for Rossville this year by scoring 45 points for the Bulldogs this year. Vincent showcased great ball striking on his FG's/PAT's/KO's. Vincent also plays defensive line for the Bulldogs on top of Kicking.     Kicker [player_tooltip player_id='1542943' first='Dylan' last='Wiman'] from Olathe West High School has been added to the list. Dylan last year was sharing reps with Senior Kicker Kyle Kurth. Even though Dylan's reps were limited he showcased great power when the ball came off his foot. Dylan finished the year goind 4/6 on FG with a long of 34 yards. Dylan is one of those Kickers who will make the coaches turn around and look after hearing the ball come off his foot. Be on the lookout for Dylan coaches as I see him rising up this list by the start of next rankings release.     The Long Snapper from Gardner Edgerton Owen J. has a natural talent to be a good Snapper. During the season he was key on PAT's, FG's, and Punt snaps for Gardner. His snaps were a key part to having [player_tooltip player_id='1306219' first='Jensen' last='Honey'] connect on 72 straight PAT's. Owen has showcased great control with making sure the laces are at a 12 o'clock when the Holder catches the ball. When the laces are as close to 12 o'clock it makes the holders job much easier, which in turn makes the Kicker more confident when Kicking the ball. Going into Owen's Senior year next year I see him staying as the #1 Ranked LS in Kansas.
