Indiana’s 2026 Sleeper Stars: 6 Recruits Flying Under the Radar

The Indiana 2026 class is stacked with talent, but these six seniors, despite their production, are still flying under the radar.    June is coming into his senior year with showing growth and potential over the past 2 seasons. He became a full-time starter this year and wasted no time getting to work. He's a smart player who puts himself in positions to succeed. We know he's got the pedigree and athletic potential, but it's been about becoming consistent in what he does and trusting his reads. He's great in coverage and that's where he makes the biggest impact. He had 43 tackles on the year, 2 interceptions, 4 passes deflected, a recovered a fumble as a junior.     Arrick has really come on for Northwestern over the past 2 years after sitting and learning as a freshman. He has quick feet and can easily shed blocks, so I like his ability to get underneath and around if needed. His past 2 seasons have been fairly identical putting up 83 tackles, 4 TFLs, 2 sacks, and 2 forced fumbles on average over those 2 years. He's a vastly underappreciated player who can help a defense in the 2nd level on Saturdays.     The upcoming senior defensive tackle is a good one with a bunch of untapped potential. He's a high-motor player who will make effort plays and doesn't give up on a rep. I like his ability to win inside and outside, but he's most effective on the inside because he can clog gaps while wrapping up. His 45 tackles, 10 TFLs, 4 sacks, 3 passes deflected, and 2 forced fumbles were impressive for his junior year and should give him plenty of eyes as a senior.     This is the first time I've seen Buskirk's tape and I came away impressed. He's all over the field and gets there in a hurry. He picks up on offensive tendencies and does a good job getting adjusted. He had 118 total tackles this year, and 78 were solos. He added an impressive 18 TFLs, 7 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, and 1 pass deflected. Buskirk has flown way under the radar for too long, and now it's time he gets the looks he deserves.     I'm not sure if it was a coaching decision or if Crane decided to become a full-time pass rusher, but it was the best thing that's happened for Crane in quite some time. He's got rare length and always has first contact with the guy across from him. He's explosive and has strong legs which help his drive. He had a huge year and I'm hoping he adds to it next fall. 78 tackles, 18 TFLs, 8 sacks, and 24 hurries this year for Crane as year 1 is fairly impressive. With his frame, I like him to continue to add to that next year.     McGrew is a fun player who has 2-way potential. He's big, quick, and tough. He's violent when setting up blocks and going on the move to do so. Defensively he's a handful and gets after the quarterback. He has no issue getting off blocks or getting around them. He put up 53 total tackles, 2 sacks, 2 passes deflected, and was in on 3 different fumbles this year and should be an issue for opposing offenses he's going against next year.
