[player_tooltip player_id='401206' first='Nikel' last='Lewis'] is still one of the most underrated running backs in Arkansas. He displays very good athletic ability, including very good foot speed, foot quickness, and contact balance. His change of direction and lateral agility, combined with good burst and acceleration, make him a lethal player at every level. Lewis showcases good post-snap vision, allowing him to locate first-level defenders and identify running lanes quickly. He has the agility to evade early penetration, using his burst to attack openings and escape the first level of defense. His good vision and quick lateral movements aids his ability to recognize cutback lanes. He possesses very good contact balance, enabling him to withstand tackles while maintaining good leg drive and lower body strength to break free and gain additional yardage. Lewis can dominate both gap and zone schemes.

[player_tooltip player_id='1134117' first='Noah' last='Wendel'] has officially transferred from Valley View HS to Jonesboro HS. As mentioned plenty of times, Wendel displays good upfield burst, foot quickness, and dip off the line of scrimmage, putting himself in a position to make a play in the backfield or at the LOS. Off the snap, he creates leverage by engaging with good hand placement, timing, and lower body strength to either drive back the OL or shed blocks, keeping his eyes in the backfield. He consistently generates pressure vs the run or pass. Demonstrates good bend, lateral agility, awareness, and power off the EDGE. Wendel displays his sideline-to-sideline motor when pursuing backside and chasing down ball carriers. Overall, good athletic ability and physicality at the POA. Coaches, add him to your recruiting board.
