Defense: MVPs, Top Performers of the Midwest Middle School Camp

With that being said, each player below earned the right to be recognized at some level. He's a stout defensive lineman with a quick first step. Plays low to the ground and has confidence in his hands. Johnson showed talent on both sides of the line of scrimmage during indy period. Once 1on1's got underway he pinned his ears back. A tall athlete with a physical edge to his game. In my opinion will have the same impact as a stand up edge as he gets bigger. Made some impressive break ups during 1on1's. He caught our eyes early during testing with overall athleticism. His agility, footwork, and technique was on display in group drills. The length and range he can cover is scary. You could see the discipline in his coverage and how he trusts his own eyes. It did not matter how many double moves that receivers threw on Blair, he stayed true to executing at a high level. He proved his power and leverage during competition drills. His punch was firm and he had a great push off the line. Walker will be put in a box due to height right now, but as he matures his body will be his advantage demanding double teams. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
