So, without further adieu, let's take a look at five guys who enjoyed springboard seasons this past fall and are well positioned to have an encore senior year.

[player_tooltip player_id='1229077' first='Wade' last='Keller'], 5'11, 175, QB, Sunrise Christian Academy, '26, is coming off a monster junior season when he completed 142 passes out of 240 attempts for 2,171 yards, a 59% completion percentage and 45 touchdowns. He added 335 yards rushing and another 14 TD's to give him an eye-popping 59 touchdowns on the year. The southpaw dual-threat gunslinger can throw from the pocket with solid mechanics or fire surgical strikes off platform and on the move with great ball placement. In the off-season he plays basketball and baseball when not training to tear things up again on the football field this coming fall. Get your popcorn out for this guy in 2025, he is going to air it out.

[player_tooltip player_id='1403517' first='Haydon' last='Hull'], 6'2, 170, QB, Ottawa, '26, is another dual-threat stud behind center who is coming off a standout junior year when he passed for just under 2,000 yards and 21 touchdowns. On the ground he piled up 360 yards and another six scores to give him 2,300+ total yards and 27 touchdowns. He is an athletic playmaker who can beat teams with his arm or his legs. As a passer he has strong mechanics in the pocket and can make all the throws, from quick bullets on slants and in the flats to deep touch passes and the long velocity throws on the second level. He also extends plays well and is deceptively fast and elusive once he breaks out of the pocket. He is going to go off this fall.

[player_tooltip player_id='1585783' first='Jaelen' last='Douglas'], 5'10, 170, RB/DB, Olathe NW, '26, had an outstanding stepping-stone year this past fall getting him well positioned to go scorched earth this season. Last year he ripped through defenses for just under a thousand yards and added another 138 receiving to give him 1,100+ total yards and 13 touchdowns on the year. As a running back he is a pounding runner with great burst who makes big yardage after the first hit. On defense he was a shutdown corner who can collapse quickly on the run and lower the boom on open-field tackles. He picked up 29 tackles on the year and added a pick. In the off-season he plays hoops and runs track. This kid is getting ready to take off this year.

[player_tooltip player_id='1306210' first='Angelo' last='Keuwo'], 5'9, 175, RB, Blue Valley SW, '26, is coming off an excellent season a year ago when he ran for 339 yards on 60 carries and scored seven TD's. As a receiver he caught 14 passes for 181 yards, to give him 11 total touchdowns. He was also a dynamic return man who lit it up with 522 yards, to give him 1,000+ total yards. On offense he lines up all over, usually in the slot, or as a tailback, and gets the ball in a variety of ways to use his blazing speed and quickness. On defense he was a smothering defender who picked up 18 tackles and picked off three passes. In the off-season he is a speedster in track. Get this guy in your sights, he is going to be an electric force in 2025.

[player_tooltip player_id='1598597' first='Shannon' last='Jones'], 6'0, 210, RB, Maize, '26, is another stud running back in the Wichita area who got better with every game. This past fall he carried the ball 113 times for 524 yards and eight touchdowns. He had one of his best games of the year against arch-rival Maize South when he picked up 115 yards rushing on 20 carries for a six-yard average and scored a touchdown. He is a powerful runner who has great field vision and instincts for finding holes and running to daylight. He is a hammer with the ball, getting extra yards by shredding arm tackles and steamrolling defenders who get in his path. Football is his one sport and he is already working hard getting ready to burn it up again. He is going to be en fuego this coming fall.
