2026 Rankings Update, Which Prospects Did I Miss?

Is a rankable player, fell through the cracks during the re-ranking process. Starts off his tape with a pick-six from a roaming safety pre-snap position. A physically imposing build, CD East has no problem stationing Jackson near the LOS to potentially blitz off the edge and be a formidable body in space. Run support reps are a plus, Jackson leans closer to the linebacker/box safety projection than a pure DB, strictly because there aren't enough pass coverage reps on tape to make me excited about his potential as a single-high safety or corner prospect. His lack of hesitation, his play recognition, coupled with his ability to bring kids down in space make him an ideal fit for a specific role on a defense. Not a name I'm unfamiliar with, one that should be represented on our rankings. I will work to squeeze him in accordingly and as soon as possible. Unsure about Flach's measurables at the moment. Is a basketball participant at Springside-Chestnut Hill. Brought home 1st-Team All-Inter-Ac. Had three interceptions in one game, a game I attended (vs. Lincoln). </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Flach's tape begins with him aligned in a single-high look pre-snap. Great between the hash vision when aligned at safety. Does a great job reading and reacting to QB mannerisms while simultaneously reading his keys at safety. A capable match-up against every TE deployed by opposing programs in the Inter-Ac. A hawk who can break on routes as if he knew the play/route prior to the snap. A confident mind at safety, Flach shows off phenomenal play recognition skills, skills that allow him to play both without hesitation as well as with instincts. Wouldn't be surprised to learn that Flach reeled in double-digit interceptions on the year, a playmaker on the defense. First rep on tape has Van Orden recognizing a play-side screen, a rep in which Van Orden attacks his would-be blocker quick, sheds, and hunts for the ball carrier. Good sniff out here. Coatesville likes to deploy three down linemen, get creative with who is coming off the edge, while deploying a SAM (or nickel) and a MIKE behind said defensive line. Van Orden can play either backer spot. Good first step when run stopping. Solid lateral mover. Like his closing speed once he dissects and recs a run. You can see a noticeable difference in his stride and pursuit angles post play-diagnosis. Has experience at TE, yet if he wants to play college football, it's likely he'll be recruited to play backer at a local D3 or D2. A high number of quality reps boosts his stock above similarly graded players too, I might add. For a kid with double-digit PBUs recorded, it's good to know he has no problem stepping up and getting his facemask dirty as a tackler. Powerful elbows/limb strength allows him to fend off wideouts who like to hand fight at the LOS during release. A player who plays above his measurbales, numerous reps showcased on tape stifling much taller/stronger wideouts. Consistent when asked to get depth via backpedal. Eyes are in the right place, can flip the switch from runner to play-maker as the ball begins to descend. Has experience at safety, not just a boundary corner. Breaks on outside-breaking routes really well when utilizing inside leverage. Fantastic anticipation at this level, looks like a natural knower of the route tree. Hand-eye coordination is a plus. Is an effort tackler on more than one occasion on tape. First rep on tape has Banks aligned deep into a curl zone. Banks proves he can take correct steps after the snap in support of the run, then escapes to his pass coverage assignment in the flat. Rep results in a pick-six. Next rep proves Banks can rush off the edge in a traditional OLB sense, hand off the dirt. A rare backer who looks just as natural working outside of tackles as a traditional MIKE backer looks between the tackles. Multiple interceptions to his name, a great recognizer of run/pass sets. A perimeter edge-setter who can leans toward the athletic end of the backer spectrum, as opposed to the traditional thumper style of LB.
