2025 Rankings Update- Talented RBs Making Their Debuts

Bryant is a highly athletic and instinctual player- he is extremely patient behind the line of scrimmage, plays with great speed, can make defenders miss, and has excellent contact balance that allows him to stay on his feet no matter how many hits he takes. I was really impressed by Bryant's ability to shed off tacklers- he has the strength and body control to blast right through defenses, consistently gaining every yard he possibly can. Bryant had a heck of a season last fall, ending the year with 103 carries for 1499 yards and 22 touchdowns and 8 receptions for 286 yards and 4 touchdowns in the air as well. At 5'8 180, Moore plays with a ton of speed and is extremely shifty with the ball in his hands. Moore is incredibly twitchy, has great field vision, can easily make defenders miss, and has the potential to turn every carry into a massive gain/touchdown. It's really impressive watching Moore in the open field- once he breaks through the line of scrimmage it's near impossible for defenders to wrap him up. Moore had a massive year on the ground for his team- he ended his season with 179 carries for 1399 yards and 19 touchdowns, with 7 receptions for 174 yards and one touchdown through the air as well. Palmer dominated defenses across the state on the ground and through the air- he's an extremely athletic, well-rounded back who is capable of doing a ton of different things really well. Palmer has electric speed and acceleration, terrific vision, a great set of hands, and plays with a ton of physicality and toughness. It's impressive watching Hunter take carries- he is patient behind the line of scrimmage, waits for blocks and lanes to develop, and takes off within an instant for massive plays on the ground. Palmer is also a reliable pass catcher, consistently serving as a great safety outlet for his quarterback when he's under pressure. Palmer had a fantastic season last fall, recording 197 carries for 1892 yards and 31 touchdowns with 6 receptions for 155 yards and 2 touchdowns in the air as well. Standing at 6'0 200, King has terrific size and uses it to his advantage every time the ball is in his hands. Defenses struggle to tackle King- his size and strength let him shed tackles easily, plow through defenders, and gradually wear down defenses throughout games. King also plays with a ton of speed- once he's past the line of scrimmage and into the open field, it's hard for defenders to catch up to him. Last fall, King had a big year for Wetumpka's ground game, recording 179 carries for 1265 yards and 8 touchdowns on the season. Be sure to watch some of King's tape! Brown made impacts all over the field for Russell County as an electric kick returner, explosive running back, and dynamic pass catcher. Brown has great speed and quickness- he can easily change direction, make defenders miss, and break off huge gains. It's also impressive watching Brown's ability to withstand hits- he has great contact balance, plays with a ton of effort, and will grind it out to gain every last yard possible. It also impressed me how easily Brown took his role as a pass catcher- he was extremely reliable as a target and consistently found ways to move the chains and get into the endzone every catch he hauled in. It was easy to see all of this on film this season, Brown ended his senior year with 185 carries for 1390 yards and 20 touchdowns with 35 receptions for 457 yards and 7 touchdowns in the air as well.
