Tracking 8 OL Risers in Alabama

New 2027 OL names are starting to emerge onto the scene in Alabama. Here are a few guys that I am tracking closely this offseason.    Ingalsbe is a towering, raw prospect with a lot of good football ahead of him. He has good foot speed and is a capable enough athlete to get out in space. Balance is still coming along, but that's to be expected. He is really good at the point of attack. Strong punch, hands, and has the prototype length to stall and control the point. He finishes blocks through the turf and fights through the whistle when engaged. There's plenty of reason to be excited here, and FBS offers are rolling in.     McCloggan is a stout, pure IOL projection. Well-filled out mass-wise on his frame. A power scheme blocker, taking easy control of the point. Still developing as an athlete and a mover in space, but he is light enough on his feet to reach properly. In a 1v1 situation, McCloggan can easily win when he takes control of the point. Little recruiting attention right now, but that should come with time and proper exposure.     Little recruiting buzz for Styles right now, but it's a matter of time at this point. Tall, long player with measurables that fall into prototype range. Has the length and size to stick at tackle, but I am most impressed with his ability to maul in the run game on tape. Pad-level and balance are developing, but his hand placement, punch, and feet are all synched up. That, plus his motor, helps him drive people. He plays hard at the point of attack, which will only raise his floor as he continues to develop. This is a clear D1 OL prospect.     Similar to Styles, the recruiting attention is limited now, but shouldn't be for long. He is 6'5 280 with broad shoulders and thin limbs. Strong player with pops of impressive athleticism. Quick out of his stance and has the foot speed to mirror pass rushers. Keeps his feet active, helping him anchor and reset. He will only get better at controlling the point as he gets bigger, and I will be watching him closely throughout that process.     Davis, who popped on my radar halfway through his junior season, has some of the most fun tape you will watch in the 2027 class. Stout, wrecking-ball style player. Gets rolling when pulling and out in space, arrives at contact with devastating force. There's a chance that, at his size and ability to wreck at contact, Davis ends up playing defensive line at the next level. Regardless, expect him to be the most violent player on the field. FBS offers are rolling in here.     Blythe is a tall, long, lean player with plenty of room to bulk and grow. Blythe is an athletic, true tackle prospect. Soft on his feet, quick out of his stance, and plays with good timing when firing his hands. Still filling out, but his fast feet help him drive and displace defenders when he is locked in. Plenty of tread on the tires here, and Blythe is a clear D1 tackle prospect.     Powell is a well-developed, true FBS-level OL prospect with versatility and a well-rounded skillset. Naturally strong player at the point who can toy around with his level of competition and anchor. Soft feet, helping him reach and mirror pass rushers. Plays plenty of RT, and I think he could stick there full-time. Balance and pad-level are still developing, but the floor is high here, and he looks like one of the most well-rounded 2027 OL prospects in Alabama.     Forrest is a fundamentally sound, true IOL projection with years of starting experience under his belt. Shorter player, but he is an efficient mover with good foot speed, balance, and hands. Even at his size, could still play a tackle spot in a pinch given his athleticism and fundamentals. Love the versatility and the floor here, expecting more D1 buzz this offseason.
