Jaquairus was a Queen City Senior Bowl selection I wrote about recently, and his strong season supported his addition to this rankings update. He is a great rover who can tackle well in open space and affect the game in pass coverage. He also enjoys playing a physical brand of football and helps set the tone defensively for his team. Currently he has offers from Charleston University and Livingstone College, and should receive more recruiting attention in my honest opinion.

Jayden's addition to the rankings really came from watching him up close in a game against a talented Mooresville team earlier this season. I think Jayden plays good coverage in either man or zone, and he has good ball skills to make plays in the passing game. Also, Jayden can come up in run support from his corner position and make tackles in the open field. I think he can definitely help a program on the next level - by all accounts he is a hard worker and a good overall team player. He currently has offers from Florida A&M and Alabama A&M.

Deangelo has been a playmaker for the last couple of years at Metrolina. With offers from Roanoke, Hampden-Sydney, McPherson, and Lawrence University, DeAngelo has college level talent. He has good speed in the open field and has shown on film some playmaking skills making interceptions and also being a return threat on special teams with touchdown runs and big game-changing plays.

Charlotte Latin had a big turnaround and a successful season, and Titus played a role in helping with that effort. Currently with offers from Crown College, Bluffton, and Culver-Stockton, Titus has some college level talent for sure. I like Titus's discipline in zone coverage - on film it led to a couple of impressive interceptions, one being a Pick 6. Titus can also play off blocks and make solo tackles in space, he's a good overall defensive back.

With a recent offer from Methodist University, Tyrek is getting some deserved recruiting attention. In reviewing his film, Tyrek is a physical corner who can play off blocks well in the running game and make tackles, which is an impressive trait for high school defensive backs. Tyrek also shows some good long speed in coverage and shows some impressive footwork in his breaks in man coverage.
