2025 PRZ-AR SHOWCASE: Second Team All-Camp

<p>Sunday's <em><strong>PrepRedzoneAR</strong></em> Showcase Camp held over 180 prospects, including some from Mississippi, Minnesota, and Tennessee. Over the course of three hours, college coaches conducted position-specific drills, 1v1s, and more. From the 180+ participants (Classes 2025-28, plus a few 29's & 30's), only a handful were selected for the Second Team All-Camp. With that, congratulations to the Second Teamers.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Quarterbacks -</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1189935' first='Reece' last='Simpson'] was decisive in his decision-making as he went through his progressions. He displayed a strong arm with a quick release and demonstrated good ball placement, allowing him to hit his receivers in stride. Throughout the camp, he showcased a strong arm capable of hitting all levels of the field. His quick release and flexibility in throwing angles further enhance his skill set. In his receiving drills, he demonstrated good change of direction, balance, and burst, allowing him to create separation and provide his quarterback with a clear window. He is an athletic running back capable of making an impact in both the running and passing game. He demonstrates good athletic ability, characterized by his foot speed, acceleration, burst, balance, and change of direction. As we have mentioned before, he continues to showcase his athleticism, hand-eye coordination, and body control with each rep. He is an athletic wide receiver who can hurt you vertically and stretch the field. Monk displays a good release due to good foot speed, acceleration, and quickness, eating up space quickly. He is a smooth route runner. He showed good initial quickness off the snap and hand placement which enabled him to create inside leverage. In pass protection, he demonstrated solid initial quickness as he executed his 45-degree and jump sets. Nelson's strong anchor reflects his good lower body strength, UOH, and balance, which he used effectively to maintain control. He demonstrates a solid burst off the snap, using his good length to extend, rip, or swim to shed blockers. He is a high-motor linebacker with solid read-and-react skills in coverage. The defensive back showcased his ball-hawking skills with a diving interception. The versatile athlete demonstrated his skills in the defensive back position. Benford is an athletic defensive back with solid read-and-react abilities, allowing him to arrive at the catch point to force either a pass breakup (PBU) or interception (INT).
