About Barrett

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My game is aggressive. When I leave the field I know I gave a 110%. I want to leave nothing undone.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My personality is laid back, funny type of guy. But as soon as I step on that field, business is business.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am a part of my schools FCA program. I have not received any non-sport awards.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

At first one of my challenge was working out outside of school. Every time I came home from football I was tired, and didn’t want to do anything. Also waking up on the weekends and working out knowing that I need to get better. That's why I am where I am at today.

What type of college are you looking for?

I would like to be a coach one day. Any college that has a strong teacher/coach Program would be nice fit for me. I would love to give back to the kids, just like it was given to me.

He displays solid initial quickness in pass protection as he executes his 45 and jump sets. Nelson showcases a strong anchor due to his good lower body strength, UOH, and balance, which he used effectively to maintain control. He can also mirror defenders due to solid COD, lateral quickness, and the ability to stay square with the defender.

Nelson’s strong anchor reflects his good lower body strength, UOH, and balance, which he used effectively to maintain control. Additionally, he was able to mirror defenders with ease.
