2025 PRZ-AR SHOWCASE: First Team All-Camp

<p><span style="margin: 0px;padding: 0px">Sunday's <em><strong>PrepRedzoneAR</strong></em> Showcase Camp held over 180 prospects, including some from Mississippi, Minnesota, and Tennesse</span>e. Over the course of three hours, college coaches conducted position-specific drills, 1v1s, and more. From the 180+ participants (Classes 2025-28, plus a few 29's & 30's), only a handful were selected for the First Team All-Camp. Be sure to keep an eye out for the upcoming Second Team awards. With that, congratulations to the First Teamers.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Quarterbacks - </h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1119972' first='DJ' last='Jefferson'] was among the standout quarterbacks. He displayed quickness and decisiveness in his reads, showcasing good decision-making skills. Jefferson has a solid understanding of the 1-2 concept and demonstrates good ball placement and anticipation by hitting his receivers as they break. He impressed coaches and scouts with his decision-making skills, quickly progressing and delivering the ball efficiently. His ball placement and anticipation were good at all levels of the field. Throughout the drills early in the day, Ward demonstrated fluency, control, and quickness. He showcased his versatility as both a running back and a receiver, making him a dual threat on the field. He demonstrated good fluidity, balance, and burst throughout the drills. His ability to evade defenders in space is impressive, due to his agility and contact balance, which help him break tackles. From the report, " Regan began the day by catching the attention of coaches and scouts with his impressive 4.38-second 40-yard dash. He was among the fastest athletes at the camp and demonstrated smooth and controlled movements throughout the drills. Regan excels as both a wide receiver and quarterback. He is a skilled route runner with good balance, change of direction, and acceleration to create separation. He displayed a solid release due to solid acceleration and foot quickness off the line of scrimmage. Riggs was creating yards of separation on his breaks due to a good change of direction, balance, and burst. From the report, "Boone is another wide receiver who dominated throughout the camp, recording an impressive 4.4-second time in the 40-yard dash. He excels at creating separation off his breaks due to his good change of direction, balance, and burst. He also has a quick release. He once again displayed strong hands and a good burst off the line of scrimmage, effectively creating separation at his breaks due to his good change of direction, balance, and burst. From the report, "Harris was impressive during the combine drills, INDY, and one-on-one matchups. Following the camp, many coaches were discussing his performance. He demonstrated solid quickness off the snap and showcased a strong anchor due to his good lower body strength, hand placement, balance, and footwork. His ability to control and stay centered was impressive. Tucker demonstrated good initial quickness off the snap and showcased a strong anchor due to his good pad level, lower body strength, balance, and UOH to control. In his pass sets, he effectively mirrored his opponents, due to his good footwork and solid lateral agility.</p>   <p>Note - 3.9 GPA</p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/WalterTuckerJr1/status/1881151954245783891 </div></figure>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Defensive Line -</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1198671' first='Braceson' last='Mitchell'], a player from the class of 2028, showcased remarkable athleticism and power, outperforming competitors across all classes. He displayed good acceleration off the snap, allowing him to effectively beat his opponents both inside and off the edge. Sanderson is a very good speed rusher characterized by his good quickness and upfield burst off the snap, which enabled him to consistently outmaneuver offensive tackles and get in the backfield.</p>   <p>Note - 3.5 GPA</p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/Keagan_s50 </div></figure>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Linebackers -</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='702192' first='Christopher' last='Byrd'] was also in our "Top Performer" report as he earned First Team All-Camp. From the report, "Byrd emerged as one of the defensive MVPs, showcasing his dominance throughout the camp. During the drills, he showcased control and fluidity, racking in solid numbers. In team drills, he demonstrated good zone coverage awareness, along with good change of direction and lateral agility to lockdown his area. He is an athletic linebacker with a good football IQ and mental processing skills in zone coverage. Dunn demonstrates good read-and-react ability, enabling him to arrive at the catch point quickly. From the report, "Andrews was one of the defensive MVPs out of the camp, and for good reason. Andrews was fluid, quick, and efficient throughout the drills. Overall, he showcased good foot speed, lateral agility, COD, and balance. Good footwork and fluidity in his backpedal enabled him to stay inside the hip pocket off-breaks, which resulted in no separation. He demonstrated good athletic ability and quickness. Williams showcased solid footwork and fluidity, allowing him to stay inside the hip pocket during the receiver's breaks. He exhibited good read-and-react skills, along with the recovery speed needed in the secondary.
