He's a powerful interior offensive lineman that stands out in running blocking. He's also a four-star long-snapper, according to Kohl's Kicking. It earned him first-team all-state recognition from the coaches association as the center on a unit that helped Valley reach the state championship game. Ellens is a force in the middle. He's technically sound with a strong base and knack for winning with his hands. He held down the right guard spot for the Prairie Hawks. A handful in tight space, Tonne moves well and can deliver when pulling. He's quick off of the snap and uses strong leverage in gaining advantages against opponents. A multi-year starter, Wagner made great strides as a center this season. His frame and skill set lend themselves nicely to that position. Wagner brings versatility to the table as well having lined up elsewhere on the OL during his prep career.
