The season is quickly coming to a close and off-season recruiting will be here in the blink of an eye. With that, I wanted to write about some of the top 2025 running backs that are flying under the radar entering the off-season. These guys have the ability to play at the next level and should be on schools' radars during winter recruiting.

[player_tooltip player_id='595840' first='Caiden' last='Collins'] 5'8" 180, Prestonwood Christian Academy

Collins can stop & start on a dime and make defenders look silly in space. He's get plenty of speed to break a long run, he's decisive, and he reads blocks well on outside zone schemes. He's got excellent contact balance and runs really hard for a smaller back.

Robert Jones II, 5'10" 180, Southwest Christian School

Robert is a powerful upright runner who is pretty slippery at the point of contact and always keeps his legs churning. He's a tough, north and south runner who will barrel through opposing tackle attempts and continue on his way.

Louie Lopez, N/A, Holy Cross

Lopez has sure hands out of the backfield, he knows how to change rush tempo to stall defenders and has the vision to spot ample cutback opportunities. He does a good job following his puller and cutting off their block, he can get to the perimeter if an edge isn't set and is willing to put his body on the line.

Will Estes, 5'10" 190, Bishop Lynch

Estes can do it all, he can run between the tackles, outside them, and make an impact as a receiver out of the backfield. He's quicker than he is fast, he can spot a seam stick his foot in the turf, and then be off to the races. He's a workhorse who can handle a high carry count and will get better as the game goes on.

Henry Eluebo Jr, 5'10" 185, Legacy Christian Academy

Henry has the patience to allow blocks to clear a path, he's got a strong upper half that he'll put to work against overly aggressive defenders, and has deceptive build-up speed. He can be creative when a blocking scheme breaks down and make something happen with little help.

Carlos Afre, 5'9" 165, Brook Hill

Carlos is an explosive runner with nifty footwork and a deep understanding of gap scheme runs & where they're meant to hit. He can get skinny through small creases and will drag tacklers with him to cap off runs.

Bryce Prince, 5'10" 210, Grace Prep

A highly productive rusher that runs downhill and will burst through arm tackles with very little change of speed. He's got enough wiggle to make defenders miss on the third level and has the speed to outrun defenders with an angle on him.
