Prep Redzone Kansas scouts are closely watching the early signing period in college football.

Five Kansas athletes who are currently unranked by Prep Redzone have announced offers over the past few days.

With thousands of athletes entering the transfer portal, more and more high school athletes might have to wait until the spring to get signed, along with junior college talent looking to move on to four-year programs.

Prep Redzone Kansas scouts will keep grinding and will attempt to keep readers updated on college offers and show as much love to our athletes as possible.

I talked with a Junior College coach yesterday in my area and shared several names of uncommitted athletes.

Here is an update on five unranked athletes with new offers. Profiles have been created for all five athletes which can be claimed for free. Each one will be added to the rankings during the next round of updates. Close to 100 Kansas athletes have announced verbal commitments, and close to 300 or more have announced offers.

[player_tooltip player_id='1572199' first='Alejandro' last='De La Poza'], K/P 6'2”, 190, Sunrise Christian Academy, '25

De La Poza is a kicker who got on my radar after specialist scout Devin Antcil joined Prep Redzone. The Sunrise kicker has a big leg and has parlayed that into five recent junior college offers. Offers that De La Poza has received include the following programs: Garden City Community College, Butler Community College, Hutchinson Community College, Coffeyville Community College, and Dodge City Community College.

[player_tooltip player_id='1572189' first='Justin' last='Robertson'], OL, 6'3”, 260, Blue Valley, '25

Robertson recently announced an offer from Peru State. He played guard at Blue Valley. He is dangerous when he pulls and is an excellent run-blocker. He has quick feet and the size to transition to tackle if called upon.

[player_tooltip player_id='1572191' first='Kyran' last='Washington'], DL/LB, 6'0”, 220, Sumner Academy, ‘25

Washington is the second athlete from Sumner Academy who popped up in my social media feed this past week. He announced an offer from Central Methodist University. He is a physical athlete who enjoys hitting people. He played most of his snaps as a middle linebacker but has the physical attributes to play at the edge or inside as a defensive tackle.

[player_tooltip player_id='1572195' first='Luke' last='Watkins'], OL/DL, 6'3”, 240, Marion, ‘25

Marion had a nice season this fall and stalwart in the trenches for them was Watkins. He recently announced receiving an offer from McPherson College. He is a quick guard who can seal off a gap and get to the second and third blocking levels.

[player_tooltip player_id='1572194' first='Parker' last='Hardgrave'], ATH, 6'8”, 270, Wichita Southeast, ‘25

Listing a young man who is 6-foot-8 and weighs 270 pounds as an “ATH” is something I never thought I would do. The real wild card on this list is Hardgrave. As I understand it, he did not play high school football this fall but has an offer from Coffeyville Community College. The same day that he announced his offer on social media, I talked with a coach from another JUCO program who inquired about Hardgrave. I have no idea what position he plays, but if he is athletic and that big, he can be coached up to play a variety of positions. Most highlights on his social media account are of him playing basketball.
