Today, we bid adieu to a fabulous 2025 Class with our final rankings update for these admirable student-athletes. We wish them well in their future endeavors and feel good that they will make the state proud, on and off of the field.

We've witnessed turnover at the top of these rankings throughout the process. Nick Brooks, who held the top spot for a time, left for Georgia before his senior season.

We finish up with [player_tooltip player_id='847795' first='Xzavion' last='Robinson'] at No. 1. The West Des Moines Valley receiver gutted out the postseason with a leg injury and delivered as the Tigers made the state championship game. The Iowa State commitment battled through injury to finish with 48 catches for 661 yards and 14 touchdowns, adding three kick returns for scores and an interception on defense.

When healthy, Robinson combines speed and athleticism with a high football IQ. His hands are reliable, his routes are crisp and he blocks. An early impact on the Cyclones is quite possible.

Thomas Myer, who also occupied the top spot, checked in at No. 2 in our final update. The Clear Lake tight end is heading into a great situation with Iowa's storied tradition at his position. He stood out on both sides of the ball this season and displayed the starter kit for what's work well with the Hawkeyes in the past.

[player_tooltip player_id='252221' first='Alex' last='Manske'] came in at No. 3, up two spots from our last update. Before suffering a season-ending injury, the Algona quarterback completed 68.5 percent of his passes with 18 touchdowns and no interceptions, chipping in eight rushing scores. The Iowa State pledge looked polished and like another guy who could have an early impact in college.

[player_tooltip player_id='847948' first='Mason' last='Woods'] moved up three spots to No. 4 in the final rankings. The Iowa City West star caught 54 passes for 1,057 yards and 12 touchdowns in '24. He also picked off a pass on defense and returned a kick for a score. He committed to Iowa as a tight end but could end up playing receiver with his skill set.

[player_tooltip player_id='252328' first='Joey' last='VanWetzinga'] rounded out the Top 5. The Pleasant Valley grinder dealt with injuries this season, but he pushed through them, producing 11.0 tackles for loss and 4.5 sacks with four rushing touchdowns. He pledged to Iowa as a center but could shine at defensive tackle on the next level with his rare combination of physicality and burst.

A pair of Cyclone recruits on defense were next in the rundown. At No. 6 is Algona lineman [player_tooltip player_id='252334' first='Jack' last='Limbaugh'], who racked up 13.0 tackles for loss and 6.0 sacks despite teams keying on him. Gilbert linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='252314' first='Will' last='Hawthorne'] is next after registering 10.0 tackles for loss and 2.0 sacks while also rushing for 2,263 yards and 28 touchdowns.

Cedar Falls offensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='847962' first='Will' last='Tompkins'] (Iowa State), Centennial linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='245544' first='Malachi' last='Curvey'] (Kansas) and Valley O-lineman [player_tooltip player_id='1209595' first='Marcus' last='McGregor'] complete the Top 10. Everyone in that group has committed to a Power 4 program.

The Class proved to be deep in the end. Colleges certainly noticed that.
