A top 300 senior at the helm for Central Clarion. Excited to see the young man play live for the first time, the 2x All-State QB will be ready to go in a title bout against Troy on Friday afternoon. 6'0, 195 pounds. Ranked as a top 15 quarterback among all PA seniors. Offered by Clarion back in April, also offered by Grove City and Waynesburg after the stamp from the PSAC program.

Stats through October 21st*

38 Passing touchdowns, an additional 8 scores on the ground. 2,360 passing yards, another 700 rushing yards to eclipse 3k scrimmage threshold. Completed a ridiculous 75% of his passes, caught five interceptions from his DB spot as well. None of this takes into account his stellar play throughout the 2024 post-season.

An incredible offensive improviser, a kid who can turn bad situations favorable in a flash. A threat to create with his feet in scheduled runs or when plays break down. Not enough credit given his way for the type of pure athlete he is. Ferguson can make LBs/DBs miss in open space like a back, all while possessing the mental fortitude to make good decisions like the captain quarterback that he is. Tough as nails, doesn't shy away from contact. Can operate out of heavy and spread sets. Can house direct snaps from anywhere on the field. Carries a college-ready build, the young man works on his body and it shows on the field. Has a rocket arm attached to his shoulders. Everything isn't consistently clean in the pocket, Ferguson has footwork, mech, and release issues to clean up, yet the kid can stretch the field in a flash if you let him. Deep ball range exceeds 50+ yards. Sees downfield well, sees the middle of the field well too. Ferguson's tape has him ripping posts easily. If Troy doesn't make Ferguson's life hell in the pocket, he can easily sit back and tear up a secondary, especially in 2A ball. A nightmarish two-way dominator who is ready to show off this coming Friday in front of fans and media. Excited to see what Ferguson has in store.

Kerr posted senior highlights, a nine-minute tape in length, on his Hudl for all to see just three days ago. The tape inside fully translates the type of football player one of these FCS schools will get.

Tape shows the skills of a top-20 offensive lineman. A one-on-one winner and one violent finisher. Stationed at right tackle, a tackle in which backs and Jace Ferguson can work off. Great momentum created off the snap, can shock opposing defenders an steer them out of gaps. I'm used to seeing 275-pound linemen this far displaced from the LOS, rare you see a lineman of this mass consistently taking out the trash 10-15 yards away from the ball. A wing-span that stretches far across his chest. A phenomenal on-the-go locator. A tackle prospect who can double as a right/left tackle. Projects as a future collegiate guard at Army, could be a right tackle prospect at the FCS programs actively recruiting him. Excited to see Kerr get after in this coming Friday.

5'10, 180 pounds. Reports a 3.5 GPA. Plenty of all-conference/state honors awarded to Beckwith over the years. Currenlty unoffered, yet a player who provides quality reps for Central Clarion. Beckwith's mid-season tape wasn't long enough to meet our ranking criteria, the reason Beckwith was left off our lists.

In the past week, Beckwith posted two separate four-minute tapes, each showing off Beckwith's prowess at TE and linebacker. These tapes haven't been posted to Twitter where coaches can see them. Troy is going to have to need an answer for Beckwith's blitzing capabilities. A great snap-timer, a kid who can build north/south momentum without many steps. A ferocious finisher, a blitzing MIKE backer who can blow up pulling guards or lead-blocking FBs/H-Backs. A quick twitch backer who is tough to square up on. I witnessed numerous blockers have Beckwith dead to rights in the open space, only for Beckwith to explode laterally and use his hands to win against blockers. An offerable prospect today, just think he needs to do a better job getting his tape out there. This kid can play. Tack on his reps at TE and you'll have a well-ranked individual holding down the Central Clarion pivotal positions on both sides of the ball. If you need further proof of Beckwith's mentality, tenacity, and toughness, just take a look at a few of his impact blocks at TE.

Thomas Uckert is a 2024 1st-Team All-Conference kicker capable of drilling 40-yard field goals in Clarion's favor. Uckert doesn't have tape up on Hudl so I won't dive into his capabilities much further. That being said, local media outlets have put out clips via X of Uckert hitting with for distance with power behind his legs.
Burford boasts a seven-minute highlight reel. A wideout on the receiving end of a ton of Ferguson production through the air. Your average D9 DB has a hard time matching up with Burford both from a skill/athleticism perspective and a size POV. A fantastic ball tracker, Burford can run nines and separate with real stride, all while tracking the football without veering off route or losing much of a step. I always second-guess self-reported 40 times, yet I can envision a world where Burford runs a sub 4.6 based on how he can get open downfield. I want to dive deeper into his tape at a later date, I think the young man could flirt with the idea of obtaining FCS interest. Troy is going to have a ton to worry about, Kerr and Ferguson are enough to game plan against, throw in a college-worthy prospect in Mason Burford, you quickly understand why this team has found so much success in 2024.

Hepfl released a seven-minute tape just four days ago showing off quality reps beside Braylon Beckwith inside this Central Clarion front-seven. A young man who brings forth the attitude and aggressiveness every LB coach wants in his backers. Central Clarion likes to run a 4-2-5, with Hepfl and Beckwith manning the gaps behind the DL. A great inside-out worker, Hepfl doesn't false step when going through his reads of the offense. Beckwith can fire off and play with instincts, while Hepfl can be counted on to scrape and clean up what's left behind. Wouldn't be surprised to learn that Hepfl leads the team in tackles. A rankable tape, he's certainly going to place on our lists post-2026 Ranking Update.

A flattened in the run game, a bull let out of it's cage in run sets that call for Hindman to pull and block out in open space. A powerful punch attached to a revving motor that doesn't call it quits until the opposition does so as well. A low center of gravity, Hindman can displace and reset in a flash, making him an ideal interior lineman who can be counted on to kick out, seal, and get his backside in the desired hole. Can play left guard and pull both ways if needed. Hindman is going to land on our ranks with tape like this, especially if his measurables hold true. 6'1, 270, this could be a name PSACs look at this time next year.

6'0, 200 pounds. A glue piece inside this offensive line unit. A sophomore who doesn't boasts some of the gaudy weight numbers Hindman, Kerr and Ward show off, each of which carry weights of 270, 300, and 320 respectively.

Brendan Bracken serves as Central Clarion's center. Not every day you see a sophomore capable of manning such a crucial position, let alone on a State Title contending team. Vice grips for hands, his grip strength and steering ability certainly don't match his height/weight, Bracken flattens kids as if he were carrying 250. The young man could easily put on good weight and be a future factor on the defensive side of the football. This potentially being icing on the cake that is his play at center. Bracken could likely serve as an emergency guard, this based on how he handles interior run stuffers across from him.
