The Washington 2025 Top 300 was just released and here we look at a few athletes outside the top 50 who are noteworthy. Each of these individuals made a nice jump up the rankings board and could do well collegiately.

[player_tooltip player_id='693772' first='Leyton' last='Martin'] 6-0 165 QB Arlington

The 1st team all-state point-guard broke numerous records on the football field, helping Arlington finish 10-2. For his career Martin set records in completions, passing yards, and TD passes. He would be a good collegiate QB if he chose to pursue the sport.

[player_tooltip player_id='693696' first='Cameron' last='Weir'] 5-10 175 ATH Skyline

One of the only players in WA to earn 1st team all-conference honors on both sides of the football two years in a row. The track star has division 1 speed but has yet to land any division 1 offers. Someone could get a steal with Weir going for 2000+ all-purpose yards and 20+ TDs for his career.

[player_tooltip player_id='693728' first='Jayden' last='Rice-Claiborne'] 6-1 185 DB Curtis

Another good get for Idaho with Rice-Claiborne recently committing. The 1st team all-conference DB is incredibly versatile and can play multiple spots on the field.

[player_tooltip player_id='1136422' first='Blake' last='Blumenthal'] 6-3 190 WR Issaquah

Blumenthal made one of the biggest jumps of any athlete on the rankings board. His overall length and ability catch makes him one of the top possession receivers in the state. On the year he caught 55 passes for 668 yards and 4 TDs.

[player_tooltip player_id='945862' first='Connor' last='Aney'] 6-4 285 DT Glacier Peak

One of the more underrated kids in the state in my opinion. The state wrestling champ has received multiple offers from D3/NAIA schools, where he would be an All American. Look for a D1aa or D2 university to get in the mix late.

[player_tooltip player_id='693768' first='Keagan' last='Howard'] 6-2 215 LB Lake Stevens

Very few athletes statewide are more versatile or have a better stat line. Howard committed to Idaho after earning 1st team all-conference honors on both sides of the football, making 117 tackles, with 28 tackles for loss, and 9 sacks. He also caught 45 passes for 694 yards and 8 TDs offensively.

[player_tooltip player_id='1065416' first='Landon' last='Garner'] 6-1 175 QB Ridgeline

Garner earned 1st team all conference honors at QB and was the GSL Offensive MVP last year. He has gone somewhat under the radar but will be a good collegiate quarterback with the level of play yet to be determined.

[player_tooltip player_id='1113094' first='Chase' last='McGee'] 6-2 180 WR Camas

Hands down one of the top players in Washington this season. McGee caught 77 passes for 1,445 yards and 24 TD's helping the Papermakers reach the state title game. It will go down as one of the best years of any WR over the last decade.

[player_tooltip player_id='694084' first='Nathan' last='Ford'] 6-0 205 ATH Yelm

The military will be getting a good one with Ford. If he ever chooses to pursue football at a later date, he would be a multiyear all conference guy at a D2/D3.

[player_tooltip player_id='1568774' first='Ryan' last='Criddle'] 6-4 260 OL Camas

Criddle was a 2nd team all GSHL lineman but has the size to play and do even better collegiately with continued progression. If he puts in the time, the sky's the limit.

[player_tooltip player_id='1563410' first='JJ' last='Leman'] 6-2 200 QB Mead

One of the more underrated players in the 2025' class. Leman led a good Mead team to a 9-2 record, accounting for 28 total TD's (17 passing, 11 rushing). He possesses legit size and overall athleticism.

[player_tooltip player_id='1136408' first='Beau' last='Butner'] 5-11 180 ATH Central Valley

The Greater Spokane League's Offensive MVP left no doubt, excelling on both sides of the football. Butner can absolutely fly, running a 4.4 40-yard dash. On the year he went for 1,820 all-purpose yards and 27 TDs.

[player_tooltip player_id='1136434' first='Jackson' last='McGill'] 5-11 175 QB North Creek

McGill was deserving of his 1st team all KingCo and POY honors. He separated himself with his overall versatility going for 26 total TDs (4 rushing) and 2,268 passing yards. He's another sleeper collegiately.

[player_tooltip player_id='1136390' first='Johnny' last='O'Connor'] 6-0 215 OLB Bellevue

O'Connor played out of position and was still one of the top defensive players in the state. The 2x 1st team all conference D lineman will project as more of an LB at the next level. Regardless of where he plays, he's legit.

[player_tooltip player_id='1428212' first='Jeremiah' last='Burroughs'] 5-7 170 RB Eastside Catholic

Not the biggest kid but tough and super talented. Burroughs was named a 1st team all-Metro RB and the conference Offensive MVP.

[player_tooltip player_id='1512546' first='Beau' last='Harlan'] 6-0 195 LB Camas

Harlan was able to focus on D as a senior and it worked out well. On the season he went for 116 tackles, with 18 tackles for loss, and 2 INTs. He earned 1st team all-conference honors while also adding 16 career TDs offensively.
