[player_tooltip player_id='1643087' first='Treiy' last='Crenshaw'] has prototype measurables at WR with some juice athletically. Against his current level of competition, he is fast enough to break away and stay away from defenders in the open field. He does a tremendous job of tracking the ball through traffic and possesses the combo of height and leaping ability to win over the top. He is still developing some nuance in his routes, but he is a youngster who is just starting to grow into his frame. It's just the beginning for Crenshaw, who should eventually develop into an FBS WR prospect given his traits and early production.

[player_tooltip player_id='1621006' first='Dedrick' last='Kimbrough'] is another freshman WR who is beyond his years from a physical standpoint. He is all of his listed 6'3 180 and has plenty of room to add mass. He is a solid athlete who created enough separation with his deception skills, but his hands are the most impressive part of his game right now. He plucks the ball away from his body, made a few off-balanced grabs, and made an impressive one-handed snag in the endzone. Kimbrough is another young WR who is lowkey right now, but will likely generate FBS and P4 recruiting buzz.

Bowens is a smaller slot-threat who made plays at all levels of the field as a freshman. He is a threat in the sweep, screen, and pitch option game, where he showcases the speed to catch the edge against his current level of competition. He has solid spatial awareness, quietly settling down in soft spots of the defense. He relies on head fakes and deception at the top of his routes to create subtle hesitation in DBs. He is smaller, but he can adjust to the ball at the last second and plays with late hands, maximizing his catch radius. Bowens will get better as he grows into his frame, which he has plenty of time to do.

It is still early to pin him down as either an RB or a WR, but there is plenty to like about Chenyis Wilson-Fuller as a playmaker in space. He often spends time lined up at an HB/TE spot, where he can get easy matchups and fire up the seam of the field. He plays with solid speed, but his change of direction is solid as he frequently stops on a dime to cut into open running lanes. He is tough after the catch and doesn't waste any movements as he takes yards available. I will label Wilson-Fuller a "playmaker" as of now.

Benjamin Russell has had a good run of WRs in recent years and [player_tooltip player_id='1035375' first='JaMicheal' last='Greer'] could be next in line. Greer is super thin, listed most recently at 145 pounds. Despite his youthful physical traits, he found a way to contribute as a freshman for BRHS. Greer is an explosive play waiting to happen, relying on his speed to take the top off the defense and make plays after the catch. Greer is only going to get better as he grows and he is absolutely a 2028 WR with boom potential as a prospect.

I first evaluated Green as an RB, but I believe he deserves an eval as a WR, where he could project long-term. He is built well at 6'1 175 and is beyond his years as a mover. He maintains his top speed for a while, allowing him to bounce the play back outside and outrun leverage to the endzone and the sidelines. He will have to show that he can contribute in the downfield passing game, but regardless, from a size and playmaking standpoint, he has what you are looking for in a WR prospect. Regardless of where he ends up position-wise long-term, Green is one of my favorite 2028 players in Alabama.
