The skill players in this year's edition of the Fab 50 are simply spectacular. The process of trying to cut down the list during the selection process was challenging, but these eight players rose to the top.

Six of the eight players are either already enrolled early playing college football, or will be suiting up to play on Saturday afternoons come next August. Let's jump into the list:

Quarterbacks

[player_tooltip player_id='272713' first='AJ' last='Brand'] | Irmo

Brand closed out an outstanding year as a Yellow Jacket, finishing with over 2000+ yards of passing and rushing yards. He led his team to the state championship, coming up just shy of a title against Northwestern two weeks ago. The South Carolina Gatorade Player of the Year, region IV-5A Player of the Year and Virginia Tech signee can improvise and make plays when it breaks down. He can also sling it downfield to his receivers with a strong velocity on his throws.

[player_tooltip player_id='241044' first='Finley' last='Polk'] | Northwestern

Polk (pictured above) led the Trojans to a 15-0 undefeated season in a thriller against Irmo in the state championship. The Gardner Webb signee threw for 3712 yards and 46 touchdowns. He had a completion percentage of 71.5 percent. He is patient in the pocket to give his receivers time to get open and he is able to dissect defenses well. What may surprise you is what he was able to do on the ground in 2024, rushing for 469 yards and 14 touchdowns.

[player_tooltip player_id='346189' first='Cutter' last='Woods'] | Westside

Woods had a strong year for the Rams, throwing for over 3200 yards passing. He earned the inaugural Prep Redzone South Carolina Player of the Year Award for his play during the 2024 season. The Rams came up just shy of their second straight state championship in a rematch against South Florence, but the South Carolina early enrollee made it count, throwing for 411 yards and six touchdowns, on just eleven completions. He has great size for the position, along with excellent pocket presence and awareness. Simply put, Woods knows how to find the green grass and get the ball to his playmakers.

Wide Receivers

[player_tooltip player_id='272708' first='Chamarryus' last='Bomar'] | Westside

One of Woods' primary targets throughout the 2024 season for Westside was Bomar. The Byrnes transfer had over 1200 yards receiving and was a home run threat every time he caught the ball. He can take the top off the defense and is a matchup nightmare when teams try to go one-on-one against him. Speaking of going against guys one-on-one, he made an impact on the defensive side of the ball with five interceptions, including one that changed the game against South Pointe in the Upper State semifinal.

[player_tooltip player_id='1012834' first='Malik' last='Clark'] | Rock Hill

The thing that stands out about Clark from the 2024 season is not only his ability to run great, precise routes, but what he does after the catch. He can get up field quickly to get a first down and he can use his speed to elude defenders and get into the end zone. He's also an asset in one-on-one situations, where he runs past them and jumps to make catches, most of the time being in the end zone. He is an early enrollee at the University of South Carolina.

[player_tooltip player_id='377560' first='Donovan' last='Murph'] | Irmo

Murph reclassified from the Class of 2026 to the Class of 2025 and will play Division 1 football next fall at either Clemson, South Carolina, Tennessee or NC State. He had a strong senior campaign, recording 1328 yards receiving and 12 touchdowns on 98 receptions. He was Brand's primary target and is another deep threat who runs crisp routes to the outside. Once he's able to create separation, it's normally a house call.

[player_tooltip player_id='464881' first='Jayden' last='Sellers'] | South Florence

Sellers was the go-to target for the Bruins' offense in 2024. He has a great combo of speed and athleticism that is fun to watch once he gets out into the open field. The South Carolina signee will be joining forces with his older brother, LaNorris after capping off his senior season with a thrilling state championship win over Westside, where he finished with 121 yards and three touchdowns.

Tight Ends

[player_tooltip player_id='1249764' first='Jordan' last='Collins'] | South Pointe

Collins caught our eyes last spring at the Carolinas Coaches Combine when he registered 26 reps on the bench press, and ran a 4.6 in the 40. He took that momentum from the spring and built on it during his senior season for the Stallions. The Navy signee was a matchup nightmare for opponents with his size and speed in the open field, and he solidified himself as one of the best blocking tight ends in the state.
