End of Season Reports: Underrated 2026 Offensive Lineman

These players have not received the full credit they deserve for the fantastic seasons that they had this year and should be considered top prospects in the state for the following season. He can always generate initial push at the line of scrimmage against interior defenders singlehandedly, demonstrating that you can always rely on him to get behind his pads when you need a yard or two. He has outstanding relentless finish, playing until the whistle and aiming to bury defenders in the dirt. In the run game, he excels on down blocks and sealing gaps for his teammates up the middle. He is even better at pass protection, completely neutralizing interior rushers with his powerful hands. He can anchor down quickly and effectively with his stable base to provide plenty of space for his quarterback to step up in the pocket. With good acceleration and low pad level, he then shows off tenacious aggression that will smack defenders off their feet if they aren't prepared. Mainly playing on the interior of the line for the Tigers offense at the right guard position, he was a gap sparker for his team. He moves incredibly well in his imposing frame and is very quick in the short area. He leverages and positions his body excellently to allow for gaps to form for the ball carrier. Munson is most impressive in pass protection, with well-balanced and lively feet that allow him to keep up with interior rushers. The lead guy up front at the center position for the Colt's offense, he was able to snap it to his quarterback consistently from shotgun or under center. His leverage against nose tackles is superb, displaying the ability to move these defenders with his strong hands where he wants them to go for open run lanes up the middle. The same goes for when he is protecting the passer, as his tough hands are hard to break free of once he has rushers in his grasp. Playing primarily at the left tackle position, he was a mismatch for almost all the defenders he went against in space. He is best on his reach blocks, getting out in space and moving with edge defenders to cut them off to allow his backs to turn upfield. He is physical at the point of attack, driving defenders back with great finish and sound aggression.
