Class 5A Freshman All Region Selections

He was named 2nd Team All Region at the position in the toughest 5A Region in the State. It's obvious from his tape that he fits in the ATH category because he does a multitude of things well. He looks like a RB lined up on the end of the OL with a solid frame at 215. Good run blocker that can stand up bigger DL and has good hands. Lawless has a long frame and good speed that makes it tough for bigger OL to get up and get a hat on him. He also has good closing speed in the open field and is a violent tackler and can chase sideline to sideline. He was named 2nd Team All Region DE after recording 8 TFL with 4 sacks this season for the Cougars. Depending on his physical development over the next 3 years I can see him getting next level interest at the LB and the DE position. The 6'0 180 freshman passed for over 1300 yards, earning a 2nd Team All Region selection and catching the attention of several P4 programs in the process. He posses good poise in the pocket, especially for a freshman, and is accurate with good velocity. Uses his legs well to extend plays and makes good decisions under pressure. The 5'9 160 WR is electric with the ball in his hands and also has the ability to stretch defenses vertically. He caught 25 passes this year for 405 yards, earning a 2nd Team All Region selection and was a HM All Dekalb County selection. Great YAC receiver that has that "twitch" to make defenders miss in space and the toughness to lower his shoulder and run through defenders if need be. Huge target at 6'6 and has good hands that catches passes in stride. He caught 35 passes this season for 534 yards with 5 TDs. I'm excited about the upside with this prospect. He has a great football IQ, god giving size, and good athleticism. Depending on his physical development over the next 3 years, Brinson has the potential to standout at a multitude of positions. He is not the biggest LT you will see but he makes up for his lack of size with grit and determination. High motor guy that sustains and finishes blocks, locking up and engaging until the whistle blows. If you take a play off in front of him he will make you pay. Not a whole lot of film available on Galloway yet but from what there is you can tell he has a lot of speed and is a dangerous return man. He returned a kick off 95+ yards for a score earlier this season vs Midtown and had several clips of kickoff return TDs last season at the middle school level. A shifty runner with breakaway speed in the open field. He had 54 touches on offense for the Trojans this Fall totaling 288 yards rushing/receiving. He added 639 yards in kickoff returns, averaging 29 yards an attempt. One to watch. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
