Starting our list off, our selection for this season's 7A All-State QB is Auburn's [player_tooltip player_id='676964' first='Jackson' last='Kilgore']! [player_tooltip player_id='676964' first='Jackson' last='Kilgore'] has been incredibly reliable for his team the last few seasons but turned it up a ton this fall in Auburn's fantastic season. Kilgore is a talented passer and decision-maker who does a great job reading and taking advantage of what defenses give him. He consistently finds open receivers and hits them accurately all around the field for big gains and scoring plays. It's been really impressive watching how much Kilgore has developed as a quarterback, he played with a ton of confidence this season and was a huge reason why Auburn was as successful as they were. It was easy to see these skills this fall, Kilgore ended his year by completing 77% of his passes for 2535 yards, 24 touchdowns, and only 3 interceptions this season. It's been awesome watching Kilgore play the last few years, be sure to check out his tape, our state is losing a talented QB!

In the 6A, we had a ton of incredibly talented passers, but none of them put together a year quite as dominant as [player_tooltip player_id='1301122' first='Bryson' last='Riggins']. Riggins, a junior-year quarterback out of Russell County, has taken off as a prospect and played the best ball of his career this season. Riggins is a highly accurate and intelligent quarterback who can efficiently deliver the ball all around the field. Riggins throws the ball with a ton of accuracy, he has terrific ball placement and uses his arm strength to stretch the ball downfield as well. It's really impressive watching how quickly Riggins reads and processes defenses- he's a quick decision-maker who takes what defenses give him and rarely puts the ball at risk. Riggins put all these skills to use this fall and it's easy to see, he completed 204/321 passing attempts for 3251 yards, 40 touchdowns, and only 10 interceptions on the season. Congratulations to Riggins, it's going to be exciting to watch him in his senior season next fall!

Our 5A Quarterback pick was no other than Moody's [player_tooltip player_id='358760' first='Charlie' last='Johnston']. Johnston has been a big-time quarterback prospect we've had our eyes on for a few years now, and this past season may have been his best individual year yet. At 6'5 190, Johnston stands tall in the pocket and plays with a ton of confidence. Johnston throws the ball with terrific accuracy and does a great job leading his receivers downfield- he has some serious arm strength and accuracy that allows him to pick apart talented secondaries across the state. Johnston also has a good bit of mobility as well, he can move around the pocket and can break off some runs for good yardage. Johnston had a huge season this fall, completing 169/252 passing attempts for 2875 yards and 32 touchdowns to only 9 interceptions. Be sure to watch out for Johnston at the next level, he's committed to Georgia Southern and is sure to be an impact player for them soon!

[player_tooltip player_id='350449' first='Landon' last='Duckworth'] had another year of dominating the 4A this fall, the junior quarterback out of Jackson has continually made a name for himself every year as a starter, and this fall was no different. Duckworth has terrific arm strength, delivers the ball with excellent touch, and can deliver accurate passes all across the field. In addition to his arm talent, Duckworth has an elite ability to read defenses and does a great job utilizing his mobility to his advantage. Whenever Duckworth gets pressured or sees an open lane, he has the speed and elusiveness to extend and make the most out of broken plays. Duckworth had another huge year this fall, throwing for 3439 yards, 39 touchdowns, and only 10 interceptions, with an additional 648 yards and 12 touchdowns on the ground as well. Duckworth is one of the top 2026 QB prospects in the entire nation, and rightfully so- be sure to watch his tape before his senior season next fall!

[player_tooltip player_id='1584656' first='Kadyn' last='Mitchell'] and Houston Academy's offense featured one of the top passing attacks in the 3A this season, and a lot of that was due to Mitchell's excellent skills as a passer. Mitchell is excellent at pushing the ball deep, he has terrific arm strength and accuracy downfield that allows him to hit receivers in stride and in coverage for huge gains and scoring plays. It's crazy impressive how easy it is for Mitchell to rip it downfield, he can merely flick his wrist and the ball will travel over 50 yards. Mitchell also has great vision of the field, he rarely turns the ball over and is bale to consistently find open receivers at each level and side of the field. Mitchell ended up having a terrific senior season, ending the year completing 76% of his passes for 3401 yards, 44 touchdowns, and only 2 interceptions. On top of his passing abilities, Mitchell also racked up 67 carries for 368 yards and 4 touchdowns. Mitchell helped Houston Academy to an unbelievable season this fall, be sure to watch what he does at the next level, he's got a ton of talent!

[player_tooltip player_id='1584642' first='Preston' last='Lancaster'] is our selection out of the 2A and for great reason- Lancaster is coming off a career year where he led the state in passing and broke Alabama's 16-year-old single season passing yard record. Lancaster has a ton of talent as a passer- he can hit receivers accurately both inside and outside the numbers, downfield, immediately, and under pressure. It's really impressive watching how composed and relaxed Lancaster is in the pocket- he takes his time, reads the field, and rarely ever puts the ball in harm's way. Lancaster cut up every defense Tuscaloosa Academy faced this season, he ended the year completing over 70% of his passes for 4293 yards, 47 touchdowns, and only 6 interceptions. Lancaster also made a ton of plays with his legs, recording 109 carries for 426 yards and another 11 touchdowns. It was awesome getting to watch the season Lancaster had this fall, he's a super-talented prospect who has picked up a good amount of attention from some JUCOs at the next level. Be sure to keep track of him going forward, I'm certain he's going to keep carving up defenses no matter where he lands.

[player_tooltip player_id='1584638' first='Gage' last='Davis'] is a talented sophomore quarterback out of Florala who really found his footing as a quarterback this past season. At 5'10 160, Davis is slightly undersized, but more than makes up for it with his dynamic talents as a passer. As a sophomore, Davis really impresses me- he plays with a ton of confidence, has great arm talent, and is willing to do whatever it takes to move the chains. It's really impressive watching Davis under pressure, he can avoid defenders in the pocket, can extend plays, and can make some impressive throws while taking big hits. Davis took a ton of huge steps as a quarterback this season, it's easy to see in his numbers- he ended up completing 153 of 229 passing attempts for 2406 yards, 27 touchdowns and 14 interceptions. Watch out for Davis going forward, he's a terrific player for this Florala offense and is only going to keep getting better!
