What a game this was. A physical battle that was led by two of the best running backs in the state, [player_tooltip player_id='284214' first='Savion' last='Hiter'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1228866' first='Malachi' last='Coleman']. The first half looked as if Louisa might have been able to slowly bleed out this game going into the half with a 20-6 lead, led by [player_tooltip player_id='284214' first='Savion' last='Hiter']. however, [player_tooltip player_id='1228866' first='Malachi' last='Coleman'] had different plays, opening the second half with 2 rushing TDs to tie the game, and Fleming's defense responded with a scoop and score to go up 27-20. Things got interesting at the end when Louisa County blocked a punt and returned it for a TD to go down by one. However, <a href="https://prepredzone.com/player/kron-furguson/">[player_tooltip player_id='1232847' first='Kron' last='Furguson']</a> sealed the game for Fleming making an open field tackle near the sideline on the two point attempt, and then recovered the onside kick. In two plays, he took their offense to the endzone. HIs play flipped the momentum to Fleming, and they stuffed Louisa County on a 4th down rushing attempt to take the ball back. On Fleming's next drive, he scored again to tie the game. After Louisa County came out to a quick 14-0 lead, he had two great passes on the following drive that led to Flemings first TD. He caught the first touchdown finding the separation to be open. He also made two key first down catches on a critical drive late in the second quarter. At the end of the game, he made the 1v1 2 point attempt tackle on the edge against Hiter to maintain Fleming's one point lead. He then recovered the onside kick attempt to seal the game. When he did, he looked good. He showed poise and delivered accurate passes. Also took some big hits and got right back up to go on to the next play. He is as advertised. He has the elite burst you are looking for out of a running back. When he sees the crease, he will quickly accelerate through it. He forces defenders to wrap up to tackle him; arm tackling will not bring him down. He is one of our favorite players in the state of Virginia at Prep Redzone and is a top recruit in the entire nation.
