Week 13 Standouts: Defense

<!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Highlighting some of the top defensive performances in week 13 of the 2024 season.</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>ATH [player_tooltip player_id='1200982' first='Adam' last='Lloyd'], 2025, Prescott – </strong>Lloyd was a difference maker on both sides of the ball in Prescott's 42-20 win over Vista Grande. At RB, he took 18 carries for 130 yards and four touchdowns. Defensively, he added 13 total tackles, and a PBU. Has played a huge role in Prescott's run to a 10-1 record.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>LB [player_tooltip player_id='1145510' first='Owen' last='Pimbert'], 2025, Pinnacle – </strong>The recently named District Defensive Player of the Year came through with five tackles, two TFL, two sacks, and a PBU in the 46-7 win over Mountain Pointe. This year he's totaled 106 tackles and 18 TFL, finishing only one game without a TFL. In the game he had 17.5 tackles and one TFL. He was highly impressive playing sideline to sideline and making plays in both the run game and in coverage. On defense, he had 8 total tackles, 4 TFL, 2 sacks, an interception, and a PBU. Offensively, he took 3 catches for 35 yards and 2 touchdowns. He's one of the top defensive players in the state that is still uncommitted with offers from Arizona State, Portland State, New Mexico State, Northern Arizona, UTEP, and Western Illinois</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>LB [player_tooltip player_id='1603412' first='Brody' last='Hanna'], 2027, Prescott – </strong>Hanna has been impressive all year leading the Prescott defense in tackles with 124 total with 17 TFL, and six sacks. In the 42-20 win over Vista Grande he finished with 21 total tackles, two TFL, and two sacks.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
