The game began with Bullis establishing early momentum. Quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='909784' first='Dillon' last='Faust'] orchestrated a steady drive, aided by a short catch-and-run by [player_tooltip player_id='1318513' first='Javonte' last='Williams'] for a first down and a scramble for a medium gain. The drive culminated in a field goal by kicker Ravi Rengert, putting Bullis on the board first with a 3-0 lead.

Georgetown Prep struggled to find a rhythm on their opening possession, going three-and-out under pressure from Bullis defenders, including [player_tooltip player_id='1318513' first='Javonte' last='Williams'] and Jacob Buxton, who forced incompletions and short gains.

Second Quarter: Georgetown Takes the Lead

The second quarter saw Georgetown's defense come alive. Linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='1705208' first='Kyle' last='Davis'] sacked Bullis quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='909784' first='Dillon' last='Faust'] deep in their territory, and on the next possession, defensive back [player_tooltip player_id='1242171' first='Akeem' last='Clark'] intercepted a pass and returned it to the Bullis red zone.

Georgetown capitalized on the turnover with a short touchdown run by running back Vincent Whitney, who gave the Hoyas an 8-3 lead. The Hoyas' kicker added a field goal before halftime, extending Georgetown Prep's lead to 11-3. Running back [player_tooltip player_id='523060' first='Cedric' last='Kouemi'] provided a spark with several chunk runs, but Georgetown's defense, anchored by [player_tooltip player_id='1242450' first='Joel' last='Slewion'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1705208' first='Kyle' last='Davis'], continued to make timely stops.

In the final quarter, Georgetown delivered the dagger.
QUICK THOUGHTS

The first half was a defensive battle. You could say that the game was still in question for three quarters. I thought Bullis athlete [player_tooltip player_id='1318513' first='Javonte' last='Williams'] probably had the best all-around game of any player on both teams. Williams made a few catches, caught a touchdown pass, and had several tackles on defense. Regarding defense, Georgetown Prep linebacker William Kirk was all over the field for the Hoyas.

When it counted, Georgetown Prep quarterback Malachi Streeter delivered a beautiful pass to [player_tooltip player_id='1698197' first='Joe' last='Perry'], who was 1-on-1 against the defensive back, down the right sideline for an extended touchdown play. That gave the Hoyas a two-possession lead, putting the game out of reach.
