Playoff time is here and I for one cannot wait. It should be a fun ride as we venture through November into late December.

Today, I wanted to look at which sophomore pass rushers are on the rise. These guys have put together very productive 2024 campaigns and I believe are seeing their stock rise. As a whole, the group isn't seeing a ton of recruiting attention right now, but I think that could change rather quickly.

[player_tooltip player_id='1247961' first='Amari' last='Vickerson'] 6'3" 280, Cypress Ranch

Amari can generate knockback off the snap, he's got solid change of direction to redirect inside, and can make tackles at the line of scrimmage out of awkward body positions. He's a fighter upfront who mauls slide protections coming towards him, he's got violent hands and shows good flexibility for a big man.

[player_tooltip player_id='1774764' first='Javon' last='Rogers'], 6'2" 250, Plano East

Rogers has a rocket-like first step, he keeps his pads low as a rusher and can cause instant penetration behind the line of scrimmage. He's got quick paws to win the hand placement battle, he uses a deadly push-pull technique to catch pass protectors lunging, and is pretty twitchy for a big man.

Cameron Hall, 6'4" 220, Mansfield Summit

Hall can bend around the edge, he's a nightmare if left unblocked as he has the closing speed to make plays from the backside and shows a fiery motor on tape. He's got a good frame he'll grow into, he can hold his own in the run game at the point of attack and dominates tight ends on 1 on 1 blocks.

James Harris, 6'3" 225, Cypress Falls

Harris plays on the inside right now for Cypress Falls, but I think he'll kick outside at the next level. He uses his quickness and speed to beat interior offensive linemen off the snap, he's extremely slippery and can make plays on a ball carrier with a blocker still engaged on him. He's highly productive against both the run and pass.

[player_tooltip player_id='419376' first='Carmelo' last='Clawson'] 6'2" 220, Waxahachie

Clawson is probably the best pure pass rusher on the list. He's an aggressive, yet instinctive pass rusher who knows how to manipulate blocks to bait the quarterback into a bad decision. He's fluid, has plenty of upper-body strength to muscle himself away from blocks, and plays with a chip on his shoulder.
