He has strong hands and good overall strength in the upper body and that is very apparent when he is pass blocking. Kraatz plays very fast and aggressive. Kraatz will play on the defensive line as well and do great job of rushing the quarterback and stopping the run. Kraatz is a guy who I see having a great game and really giving <strong>Heritage</strong> a legitimate chance to win this game. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Jaylen Lane | DB/TE | East Lansing | <a href="https://x.com/db_JIGG">@db_JIGG </a>| <a href="https://www.hudl.com/profile/19323761/Jaylen-Lane">Hudl</a></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Lane has done an excellent job of creating turnovers. He had a big fumble return and also and interception that he took back for a touchdown. Lane uses his size and strength well to get off blocks and tackle ball carriers. He is a versatile safety who can play up near the line of scrimmage and make tackles, and also drop back into coverage and play the pass. He has a quick back pedal and does a good job of reading the quarterback in coverage.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='587870' first='Jace' last='Clarizio'] | RB | East Lansing | <a href="https://x.com/jace_clarizio">@jace_clarizio</a> | <a href="https://www.hudl.com/profile/16810455/Jace-Clarizio">Hudl</a></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Clarizio is a game changing running back who is so hard to tackle in the open field. Clarizio is a very patient runner who has excellent vision. He can change direction very well and shows burst out of cuts. Clarizio has good power as well and can lower his shoulder and break tackles. Like Kraatz from <strong>Heritage</strong>, Clarizio gives <strong>East Lansing </strong>a legitimate shot to win this football game.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Grayson Byam | LB /TE | Saginaw Heritage | <a href="https://x.com/GraysonJByam">@GraysonJByam</a> | <a href="https://www.hudl.com/profile/16344241/Grayson-Byam">Hudl</a></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Byam has very good size for the position, listed at 6-3, 205 lbs. He has very good hands and can come down with interceptions for his football team. He has good play strength and can get off blocks well. His play strength is also very apparent when he is breaking tackles on interception returns. Byam also plays tight end for <strong>Heritage</strong>. Byam is a good football player who I believe will have an impact in this game. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='587892' first='Owen' last='Fortman'] | WR | East Lansing | <a href="https://x.com/OWeNFortman">@OWeNFortman </a>| <a href="https://www.hudl.com/profile/16658554/Owen-Fortman">Hudl</a></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I liked how last year Fortman really stepped up for <strong>East Lansing</strong>, during their playoff run. Fortman is a clutch receiver who has very good hands. He has good size for the position, listed at 6-3. Fortman came up big once again this year in the playoffs with a late touchdown in district final win over <strong>Dexter</strong>. Fortman is a very tough receiver who can make catches while taking a hit. He has good concentration and can come down with catches in traffic. Fortman like I said, steps up in big games and this certainly is a big game for his team this upcoming Friday.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->

Saginaw Heritage will travel to take on East Lansing this upcoming Friday at 7pm in the Division 2 Regional Final. East Lansing currently stands at 8-3 and Saginaw Heritage record is 8-3 as well. There is a lot of good football players in this game that I wanted to mention.
