Ethan was a monster on the defensive line. Midland tried to move him, tried to make space for their run game, but Ethan consistently plugged it up.
Just look at his highlights. From the jump, it’s obvious that Midland absolutely could not move Ethan. In his first highlight, Midland’s tackle attempts to block Ethan, but he just holds strong and makes the RB run right into him. The second highlight shows something similar; a poor block from the tackle leading to a well-timed spin move and inside run stop from Ethan.
The back half of his District Final tape shows Ethan doing what he does best at his primary position (Offensive Tackle). There, Ethan consistently stonewalled & pancaked some of the same players who tried to block him on the other side of the football. Amazing stuff from Ethan!

Ethan is actually someone who I was high on before his first offer from SVSU. Very early on, I noticed him dominating run blocks while getting a lot more pass-blocking reps than most- because of Heritage’s offensive scheme. Since then, he’s improved his body, fundamentals, etc. Ethan keeps on climbing the rankings, and keeps on receiving MAC, Armed Forces, and Ivy league offers.

Ethan is another lineman I haven’t examined in depth in quite a while. Early in his career, I had a high D2 evaluation on him. Since his freshman season, he’s grown a bit and has gotten significantly better in several areas. Heritage runs an air-raid type of offense, and because of that, Ethan is well-rounded as a run and pass blocker. A big jump for Ethan, as I expect many more D1 offers soon.
