The Minnesota State-Moorhead commit showed his skillsets on both sides of the ball, but his receiving touchdown made the biggest waves when I watched it live. Reggie showed off great instincts tracking back to the ball that was slightly underthrown showing the great body change of direction that got him underneath the Vikings pass defense to find the end zone on the 24-yard receiving touchdown. One of the top 2025 wide receivers in the North Dakota class, the 6'2 195 pound wide receiver showed off the continous great hands that we have seen, as Reggie was a standout during our camp tours over that I can recall from the UND Flagship Camp in which the athletic finesse this young man has being a factor in camp reps and showed full circle how consistent those skillsets match up.

Another athlete that popped out in 11A this year on our Big Dogs of the Week lists that drew some attention in the state championship game was Kindred's [player_tooltip player_id='356874' first='Hunter' last='Bindas']. Although he isn't your prototypical TE with the size, Hunter surely showed off the athleticism with his catch radius and great vertical to be an x-factor for the Vikings offense. There is not a doubt in my mind that this young man could be a great fit in the NAIA amongst Dakotas schools at linebacker, but that positional versatility trended well offensively in the 11A State Championship game.

We surely had our eye on our WR1 in the North Dakota 2026 class which is [player_tooltip player_id='1226854' first='Easton' last='Benz'] of New Rockford-Sheyenne-Maddock and he surely lived up to that hype we wanted to see at the Dakota Bowl. The 6'3 180 pounder, showed off a very long catch radius as he has hit a growth spurt since our last live eval. He also stood out with more durability after the catch which flashed out more in the live-eval we got in Fargo on Friday. He also possessed the instincts we wanted to see in the open field and I believe there is even more upside for Easton to flash those even more as just a junior. No doubt that we were chomping at the bit with our live-eval knowing that this young man is going to be a great WR prospect you will be seeing playing scholarship football on Saturdays, as he could be another one that is a FCS fit the Dakota schools.

Bennett is a wide receiver prospect that I had as under the radar prior to the 9-man state championship game but man, he sure left an impact for the Rockets offense. What I liked most about Bennett was how fast he was with his route-running into the second level of the field, as I felt that was determining how well-versed the separation he got was. Regardless of what side of the ball he stood out on, I could surely tell that this young man plays with a chip on his shoulder, as his physicality on his routes stood out in my eyes. Defensively, he was no different, logging a handful of pass-breakups and one specifically that caught my eyes as his physical finishing thru his contact had some folks in the crowd and myself like "whoa". A 2025 that is uncommitted and I feel could be a great small school fit at the next-level.

A new 2027 wide receiver name that we got a solid live-eval on from last Friday is West Fargo Horace wide receiver Aiden Green, who also is the only All-State receipent in 11AA from that 2027 class. The top wide receiver as far as the stats go for the Hawks, the 6'0 150 pounder showed off the upside that instinctively shows that he plays with more finesse than those measurables will show you. He showed off some of the best hands amongst both teams in the 11AA state championship games and almost every reception Aiden made was in very tight windows. The parity and balance that Aiden showed off on every rep as a route-runner also showed out in my live-eval. He certainly is a 2027 WR that I need to add to our rankings ASAP.

Our TE MVP from our spring Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase showed off why I feel more Division II schools should be recruiting this young man. The 6'4 215 pounder showed off excellent hands and I thought relished with attention to detail with a great feel of where the first down sticks were for the Roughriders in the 11AA state championship game. He is another one that I feel had to compete a lot in high traffic areas, but the amount of receptions he was able to log in those tight windows surely show why I believe the next-level fit stays at the tight end position at the next-level. He also showed off the verified testing numbers at our showcase in Sioux Falls that fit the bill as a next-level tight end.

Max is another 2027 new name for me that stepped up for the Roughriders offense with his play in the 11AA state championshp game. He not only logged the best stat line in the Roughriders receiving core, he created the few splash plays in the passing game for Red River. The 6'0 170 pounder also showed off great finesse with his hands after the coach and consistently showed off what upside is there with his durability getting yards after contact. Max is one I hope to get more glimpses of his skillsets once his sophomore tape comes out hopefully soon as a 2027 to know in the North Dakota class.

Caleb is yet another 2025 wide receiver prospect that has excelled at college camps in recent summers, and our Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcases, that I cannot figure out why he doesn't have his first offer yet based on what I saw out of his production again from the 11AAA State Championshp Game. Caleb showed off persistency getting great separation with his route-running in the reps I got watch at the FargoDome last Friday night. He was also one of the Mustangs leaders in receptions during the championship game and showed off excellent hands in the reps I watched. He also caught my eyes with his growing change of direction on his routes I watched which I even feel since last summer has rose his stock even further. Some school in my eyes I feel is going get a steal as a slot receiver and one that also has great fluidity on every route.
