<p>We are hearing that 2027 prospect [player_tooltip player_id='1420553' first='Jake' last='Medieros'], who attends the Pingree School, is receiving a lot of interest from Div 1 FCS schools. Jake is a 6'2”, 280 lbs (2027) OL/DT who has been dominant on both sides of the ball for his team this season, per his Head Coach. His head coach stated the following about Jake. " Jake was dominant for us upfront this season on both sides of the ball. A big, strong, athletic offensive lineman who moves extremely well in space and can climb to the second level. I project him as a Center at the D1 FCS level. A smart football player who is very physical and plays to the whistle. High ceiling. Still growing. A wrestler who loves the weight room. Strong Leader who is a very strong student academically."</p>

<p>Another underclassmen prospect on the Pingree team this season that came on strong toward the end is 2027 [player_tooltip player_id='944006' first='Colt' last='Downey'], 5'11”, 181 lbs WR/Safety. His Head Coach stated the following. " Colt is a long, athletic receiver who was big for us down the stretch. He ended up starting for us as a Sophomore in the last half of the season with some nice catches and had some solid games vs. both Hamden-Hall and Dexter-Southfield. He is a possession type of receiver who is a solid route runner, good at finding the soft spots in the defense, and very reliable. It has a very high ceiling. “Late Bloomer” like his brother older brother Jackson Downey. Colt is just starting to grow and develop now. His older brother Jackson is 6'2” and 210 lbs. and started at UNH at Strong Safety as a Redshirt Freshman. Look for Colt to continue to grow and develop physically in the off-season and to improve his overall speed and acceleration. Going to have a big season next year!"
