For some reason, either a tech issue or a brain issue, I wrote this report last month, but it never got published.

Prep Redzone Kansas updated the class of 2026 rankings in October right before I took an extended break from writing.

Here is a report on five Kansas prospects who debuted in the rankings last month. My apologies for the late report, but better late than never.

[player_tooltip player_id='1418868' first='King' last='Lawson'], OL/DL, 6'3”, 325, Shawnee Mission West, ‘26

Lawson makes his debut ranked No. 86 overall. He is a mountain of a man who can play either side of the ball. He is a space-eater on defense who creates offenses to double-team him. Offensively his size will play best at the tackle position. The key for him heading into his senior season is to continue to improve his strength and quickness.

[player_tooltip player_id='1419981' first='Eshawn' last='Tyler'], DL, 5'9”, 285, Shawnee Mission Northwest, ‘26

Tyler joins the rankings at No. 87. Tyler plays low to the ground and is quick. He can blow up a gap in the blink of an eye. Defensive tackle or nose guard is his position based on a team's defensive scheme up front. He can beat blockers with a heavy push or with his quick feet.

[player_tooltip player_id='1455131' first='Chance' last='Zigmant'], DL, 5'7”, 205, De Soto, ‘26

De Soto's Zigmant debuts at No. 88 overall. He can wreak havoc on a backfield and has a nose for causing turnovers. He has an excellent social media account he uses for recruitment. He regularly posts videos and individual stats. He plays on a solid De Soto team that will have plenty of coaches' eyes watching the Wildcats play.

[player_tooltip player_id='1431941' first='Camron' last='Wetter'], LB/RB, 5'10”, 185, Marysville, ‘26

Wetter makes his debut in the No. 89 slot. Wetter is fast and dangerous on both sides of the ball. He is having a big impact on the defensive side of the ball and already has more than 50 total tackles midway through the season. He plays running back on offense and looks to me like he could be a threat as a tight end.

[player_tooltip player_id='1473326' first='Emmanuel' last='Lee'], DL/OL, 5'10”, 185, Leavenworth, ‘26

Lee enters the rankings at No. 90 overall. I saw him play this season in a Pioneer's win over Shawnee Heights. He has a huge reach and can get skinny up front to close off a gap. He has the versatility to play defensive tackle or as an end. The defensive side of the ball is where I project him to play at the collegiate level. However, he has the frame he could be a center or long-snapper. He might consider learning to long-snap to improve his recruitment stock.

For some reason, either a tech issue or a brain issue, I wrote this report last month, but it never got published.
