[player_tooltip player_id='504745' first='Bradley' last='Seiss'] | Quarterback | 2025 | Loyola Blakefield

Seiss was the driving force behind Loyola's offensive success. His versatility in both passing and rushing made him difficult to contain, as he was able to exploit gaps in Milford's defense through a balanced mix of plays. He displayed solid accuracy on his short and intermediate throws. Misfired on a few downfield shots, but connect a few times with his receivers, including a nice 37-yard pass completion to [player_tooltip player_id='1314846' first='Jesse' last='Legree'] in the first-half to set up a field-goal attempt that was made. He was poised in the pocket when facing pressure and came through with some big plays courtesy of his legs. Loyola was penalized a lot on offense, mistakes self-inflected, but he kept his poise and kept the offense on schedule.

[player_tooltip player_id='909721' first='Owen' last='Newberns'] | Quarterback | 2027 | Milford Mill

Newberns was responsible for Milford's offensive momentum, including two touchdown passes, one of which was a perfectly placed throw on a corner route. His mobility and passing gave Milford opportunities throughout the game. He also ran for a 37-yard touchdown straight up the middle to give Milford Mill an early 6-3 lead in the second quarter. He took several shots downfield but missed on several throws due to inaccuracy or good coverage by Loyola Blakefield. Milford Mill played without their starting running back Damon Ferguson, one of their top offensive weapons.

[player_tooltip player_id='1695135' first='Mason' last='Russell'] | Running Back | 2026 | Loyola Blakefield

Contributed significantly in the second half with effective runs, including a critical touchdown run in the third quarter. He was also consistent in helping Loyola control the clock. He had a six-yard touchdown run in the third quarter to help Loyola Blakefield extend their lead to 21-14. One they would not relinquish. He didn't get massive gains on every play, but he was reliable for consistent short-gains.

[player_tooltip player_id='1003285' first='Romero' last='Ison'] | Wide Receiver | 2025 | Milford Mill

Ison, Milford's key target, making important catches including a touchdown and several other gains that kept drives alive. He was Newbern's main target , catching 10 passes for 75 yards, including a 30-yard touchdown on a corner route to cut Loyola's lead to 27-20 late in the fourth quarter. He had a few catches that helped his team convert third downs and extend drives. I thought he did a good job finding openings against Loyola's zone defense. Legit downfield threat that Loyola had to worry about.

Dajuan Nelson | Running Back | 2028 | Milford Mill

Nelson provided solid rushing yards, helping Milford maintain possession and achieve first downs. His key runs in the second quarter added significant yardage. He finished with 68 yards on 10 carries. With starter Damon Ferguson not playing, Nelson got the majority of the carries. I thought he showed some quickness and burst on a few of his runs.

[player_tooltip player_id='1580008' first='Derek' last='Seiss'] | Tight End | 2025 | Loyola Blakefield

A dependable receiver who made several notable catches, including a crucial reception to help advance Loyola downfield. His presence stretched the defense and created opportunities for Loyola's offense. He had a 17-yard catch early in the game that helped his team set up a field-goal. He had about three catches and around 32-25 receiving yards. He was the target of a few others passes that ended up being incomplete.

[player_tooltip player_id='1242646' first='Owen' last='Scheihing'] | Kicker | 2025 | Loyola Blakefield

Loyola Blakefield needed all the points it could get against Milford Mill. Schehing made two field-goals, including a 37-yarder to give the Dons their first lead of the game. He also made a 36-yard field-goal and converted an extra-point. He has an offer from both UConn and Towson.

HONORABLE MENTIONS

[player_tooltip player_id='1314846' first='Jesse' last='Legree'] | Athlete | 2025 | Loyola Blakefield

Legree had a nice 37-yard reception down the left sideline. Also had an end-around for six yards. Also had a nice kickoff return

[player_tooltip player_id='1312934' first='Khary' last='Adams'] | Athlete | 2026 | Loyola Blakefield

Adams had a couple of 15-plus yard kickoff returns. Had several touches both running and catching the football and accounted for at least 25 additional yards on offense.
