It is striking that Syracuse is the only offer for the 6-foot-5, 225-pound tight end who transferred to Heights - a tight end powerhouse (Travis Kelce of the Chiefs is a graduate) from Arizona. Pol is rocked up, has good receiving skills and quickly gets upfield with the ball in his hands. He is also an effective run blocker who can seal off the corner.

The North Olmsted wideout doesn't have any offers yet but should. He has the height and size at 6-foot-2, 165 pounds, especially at cornerback where he displays good ball skills. He can stay in phase, times the ball well to breakup passes, and has good leaping ability to defend contested catches. Primarily a zone coverage corner yet still stays physical with receivers downfield.

Byrd, who has played both defensive tackle and defensive end, has a long frame with plenty of room to grow and add bulk, which he should if he wants to start in college. He flashes good first-step quickness and has long arms to lasso ballcarriers in space. If he gains bulk he could play anywhere on the defensive line.

Csanyi is leading the three-time defending state champions deep into a state championship run with a roster that lost so many key players to graduation last May. Fresh off a 40-24 victory over Perrysburg, he was 19/25 for 198 yards and two touchdowns last week. He can stay in the pocket, make tough throws with defenders in his face. He has a quick trigger and throws with good accuracy in the short/intermediate game. A tough 13-0 Mentor team tonight will be his next challenge.

Prementine holds a couple of offers from Tiffin and Ashland and is a key holdover from last year's Ed's squad that was so dominant. The left tackle is a very good run blocker in space who can pancake defenders and plays with great leverage.
