It's obviously still very early, but King is currently one of the top players from the southeast corner of the state. He's an athletic prospect that's shown promise as a two-way player, and could be a key piece for Independence in a few years. In this initial update he debuts at No. 12 overall and is the top-ranked wideout in the class.

[player_tooltip player_id='1433331' first='Spencer' last='Crumrine'] - Sedgwick, 5'7”, 120

Crumrine is one of a few freshmen in the state that saw the varsity field this season. However, not many made the impact Crumrine did. He finished his freshman campaign as the second leading receiver for the Sedgwick Cardinals and is sure to pick up multiple postseason awards. Crumrine comes into the rankings as the 18th ranked player overall.

[player_tooltip player_id='1433327' first='Grant' last='Nehls'] - TMP-Marian, 6'2”, 175

The third ranked wideout in the class is Nehls of TMP-Marian. He's arguably the most physically gifted prospect from this group of six, and has the frame to go along with his talent. Nehls was the Monarchs' most explosive receiver this season as he averaged around 15 yards per catch. He has the potential to be an exciting player in Class 1A.

[player_tooltip player_id='1530433' first='Jacob' last='Perkins'] - Rock Creek, 5'10”, 150

Rock Creek has had a knack for developing underrated wideouts in recent years, and Perkins looks to be the latest for the Mustangs. Perkins rounds off the Top 25 in this first update after emerging as Rock Creek's second leading receiver this season. He finished his first varsity season with 22 catches for 291 yards and two scores.

[player_tooltip player_id='1356215' first='Clay' last='Tolbert'] - Holcomb, 6'0”, 150

Next up is Tolbert of Holcomb. He's another wideout with good size for his age, and is sure to continue to grow throughout his career. Tolbert entered in at No. 31 overall and is the 5th ranked receiver in the class.

[player_tooltip player_id='1420981' first='Austin' last='Waller'] - Garden City, 5'4”, 125

Last but certainly not least is [player_tooltip player_id='1420981' first='Austin' last='Waller']. The Garden City product rounds off the receiving group as the 6th ranked wideout in the class and the 35th ranked prospect overall.
