The national recruit has been on an absolute tear so far in his final prep season, and had another big night in the opening round against a tough Sanger squad. He rushed for just under 200 yards and 2 scores while adding some receiving work as well. The always tough to tackle ball carrier is one of the more violent and punishing runners the region has seen in recent memory, and Madsen will look to lead the Broncos again tonight in a huge match-up against central.

Dippel has been quietly putting together one of the top seasons of any 2026 passer across the central valley, and has Central in a prime spot to get another shot at the section title in a few weeks. His ability to push the ball downfield, buy time with his feet and deliver on-schedule throws into tight windows makes him extremely dangerous, especially with the weapons that Central deploys on a weekly basis. He had another strong showing in the opening round of the Central Section playoffs, throwing for 3 total touchdowns, and tacking another score with his feet on the ground. Central will have their work cut out for them this week as they square off against a loaded Clovis North team with multiple college recruits of their own on the roster.

Miller is going to end his career as one of the most prolific passers the central valley has ever had, and he is putting up absolutely monstrous numbers in his final season for Clovis East, the top team in the central valley. Mvery technically sound passer that can navigate the pocket well and is a high IQ kid and can make all the throws at all three levels of the defense and excels at buying time with his feet and throwing with accuracy on the run.

The UC Davis commit has passed for 2,400 yards and 30+ scores while adding another 558 yards on the ground this season. In the opening round against Tulare Union, he picked up right where he left the regular season off tossing 4 touchdowns for 250 yards in a lopsided win for Clovis East.

Mathieu has been a very productive and big play receiver all season, and made more splash plays in the opening round against Tulare Union. He is a twitchy route runner with good start/stop abilities, shows he can stretch the field and is a natural pass catcher that can pluck the ball out of the air with ease and win on contested catches against bigger defenders as well. He is also a polished route runner that can beat both man or settle in zone coverage and shows after the catch abilities as well with some short area twitch and strong acceleration after the catch. On Friday night, he erupted for 3 touchdowns and 157 yards receiving, bringing his season totals to just under 1,000 yards receiving and 16 touchdowns.

Brewington put together a very impressive 2024 season at the helm for Hoover, and put up some impressive numbers through out the regular season and into the first round of the central section playoffs. Through the season, he showed he can spread the ball around and make on schedule throws with the ability to throw the ball downfield and stretch the field when needed. The senior signal caller has passed for over 1,500 yards and 7 scores this season, and had a big night in the opening round of the post season. While leading Hoover to a 25-20 win over Woodlake, he passed for over 300 yards and 4 scores. Hoover will be squaring off against Selma in the second round on Friday night.
