Central Indiana Defensive Recruits With High Upside

He's worked on his frame and it's helped him in the trenches. So much so, that they've put him near the ball more and had him create pressure up front. He's managed to get sacks against the best teams they've faced this year like Ben Davis and Carroll, some of the best programs in the State. He's a corner who has a good amount of confidence on the outside, which is just as important as the physical abilities, which he has. He does a decent job in coverage and isn't too handsy. He'll turn his head and look for the ball as well to see if he can make a play. I remember him coming in as a Freshman as just a long snapper. Since then, he's turned into the most versatile player for Hobart and plays on all 3 phases of the game. He's a good athlete, has twitch, and for someone who is 6'3", bends as well as anyone on the field. He's gone from a freshman on the field who made some plays to this confident and dominant DL who helps energize the guys around him. He plays with confidence, swagger, and is fairly creative with how he rushes. He doesn't try the same move over and over again. He's fairly light on his feet and has good power. He's been a highly productive player who has a good nose for the ball. He's a good athlete and can cover from sideline to sideline. His range is good and he doesn't get beat over the top.
