7-6A #3 Norcross at 6-6A #2 Lambert

Norcross Blue Devils: Norcross (7-3) has played outstanding defense this season, only allowing more than 21 points in 1 game. They started the season 7-1 before dropping the final 2 games by a combined 18 points. Dillon Mohammed has had an outstanding senior season at QB throwing for over 1400 yards with 15 TDs. Senor RB [player_tooltip player_id='1571604' first='Kobe' last='Robinson'] has been a workhorse on the offense. He averages over 17 carries a game and scored 10 TDs. The Senior WR combo of [player_tooltip player_id='411294' first='Jahsaun' last='Clarke'] and Jamari Harrold have combined for 76 catches and 1100 yards with 14 TDs.

If Norcross pulls the upset, they will be led by the defense, anchored by this fella below.

Tompkins continues to fly under the radar after continuing to put together productive seasons at LB. Great instinctive LB that has a nose for the football. He finished the season with 114 TT with an impressive 22 TFL and added a 62-yard INT return for a TD.

A solid 5'9 180 that obviously has spent time in the weight room. A natural football player that will hopefully garner more attention if the Blue Devils make a deep run in the post season.

1-6A #3 Valdosta at 5-6A #2 Walton

After a 7-0 start the Wildcats lost 2 of their last 3 games to finish the regular season at 8-2 and have to go on the road in Round 1. They are led by UGA commit and one of the top dual threat QBs in 6A, [player_tooltip player_id='1305392' first='Todd' last='Robinson']. The 4-Star senior finished the regular season with close to 2200 total yards with 27 TDs. Sophomore RB [player_tooltip player_id='1096365' first='Marquis' last='Fennell'] is dangerous with the ball in his hands and the Wildcats try to get it to him anyway they can. Fennell finished the season with over 1000 yards combined rushing/receiving with 10 TD.

If the Wildcats are going to make the long drive North and pull off the upset, they will have to have a big game on the defensive side of the ball. This guy below has had an outstanding season.

Williams is another one of those LB prospects that might not check off the recruiting boxes when it comes to height, but the guy can play.

Selected 1st Team All Region in arguably one the best 6A Classifications for talent in the State. Williams had 69 TT with 17 TFL on the season and really kicked it in the last month of the season. Over the Wildcats last 3 games he had 33 TT with 6 TFL.

Good natural instincts that recognizes plays and gets downhill fast. Solid tackler. Next level athletic ability.

4-6A #3 South Gwinnett at 3-6A #2 Hillgrove

The Comets had a decent season in '24 finishing at 7-3. Thier 3 losses came against Top 10 team in Valdosta, Grayson and Newton. They scored 40 or more points in 5 of their 9 games (1 game was a forfeit win). Junior QB [player_tooltip player_id='1558794' first='Xavier' last='Butler'] completed 75 passes to 14 different receivers with senior RB Eric Ramey getting most of the work out of the backfield.

The Comets will need a big offensive performance on Friday as they take on a very athletic and well coached Hillgrove team on the road.

At 5'9 170, Butler may not be the tallest signal caller in 6A but he may be the most dangerous with his legs.

Efficient enough passer to keep you honest, passing for over 1000 yards with 8 TDs and finding 14 different receivers. Where he excels is with his feet. Has elite speed and that "twitch" to make defenders miss.

The junior QB averaged over 8 yards per carry and scored 12 rushing TDs. He had a game high 166 yards rushing in a win over Archer.

Dynamic on film with breakaway speed. Maybe not a QB at the next level but possesses the natural ability to play at some position at the College level.
