As the season has come to an end for many programs across the state, and more will join over the next few weeks, there are still seniors who haven't made a college decision.

It happens every year, and because of the transfer portal and other factors, high school players are having a tougher time than ever.

Whether it's a full scholarship or some kind of financial assistance, seniors – in this class – have been doing everything possible to get themselves out there.

With so many off-season exposure events taking place in December, January, February and into March, the door is not closing as fast as it has in the past, and smaller college coaches are starting to capitalize on the lack of scholarships at higher levels.

As you already know, Prep Redzone Florida is proactive year-round when it comes to exposing and promoting student/athletes at every level.

On this Sunday, as part of our coverage, we bring you five seniors to continue to keep an eye on:

[player_tooltip player_id='1297256' first='Brayden' last='Ailstock']

OL/DL

6-1, 290

Callahan West Nassau

WHAT TO LIKE: A versatile line prospect, who plays center and guard and no matter where he lines up, you can see exactly what he brings to the table. He is one of those technical “whistle to whistle” players who has a motor that stands out as soon as you watch him. Whether it's as a run blocker or providing pass protection, here is a gifted football player that can be a major asset at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='829494' first='John' last='Kostuch']

QB

6-0, 182

Winter Haven

WHAT TO LIKE: This gifted young man is one of those prospects that has perhaps helped himself as much as anyone in the class. Never afraid of competition, you will see him attend everything possible to gain exposure. As a quarterback, he is a three-year varsity starter, who combines his ability to throw with a threat of running. In the classroom, he is a National Merit student with an impressive 4.536 GPA, which will open every door.

[player_tooltip player_id='1580913' first='Jordan' last='Lyons']

SS/WR

5-10, 170

Homestead Somerset Silver Palms

WHAT TO LIKE: Talk to his coaches and all will sing his praises as a solid football player who gets it done on both sides of the ball as well as displaying leadership on and off the playing field. Was active on the defensive side of the ball all year with over 60 tackles, numerous forced fumbles and interceptions. His work in the classroom (3.5 GPA) is yet another enhancement in the process. College coaches need to watch him a few more times to see exactly what he is all about.

[player_tooltip player_id='831335' first='Jatavius' last='Ward']

DE

6-3, 220

Frostproof

WHAT TO LIKE: When we first saw him two years ago, there was never a doubt about how talented this young man could be. He is quick off the edge, strong and can read the flow of plays as well as anyone. On a team that won an independent state title this season, he was the kind of football player that showed he had a chance to play edge or outside linebacker at the next level. His ability to make plays kept him in the spotlight all season. His motor never stops and that is something you simply cannot teach.

Tyler Whye

OLB

6-0, 190

Naples Palmetto Ridge

WHAT TO LIKE: The very first thing you notice when watching him perform is how versatile he is. Whether coming up and supporting the run or dropping back in pass coverage to assist in the secondary, he is indeed that kind of player. Over the next few years, with normal growth and weight training he is going to be able to make more of an impact, especially with his natural skill and ability to be around the ball. Lot to he impressed with, here.
